Why? Do you think this will somehow help your fantasy team, or do you just really like cows?If Mike Bell is the starting RB week 1, I'll kiss every cows a-r-s-e in Minnesota.Reaching Willie Parker and Samkn Gado levels.Everyone take cover!
I guess since I made a dumb comment, I should expect a dumb response to it. Ever heard of metaphors and figure of speech? Why? Even though M Bell could still get the job, I'll bet those who spent a high pick on him are a little nervous right now. Can't say they weren't warned.I just really can't imagine anyone being too comfortable here... the best situation is to be the T Bell or Cobbs owner since you DIDN'T waste a high pick!

Now Shanny says that the Starting RB position is still up for grabs. I want no part of Denver and their RB saga.

Agreed. I'm targeting Cobbs (doubt I'll get him from waivers), but otherwise have no dog in the race now. I had Mike Anderson last year, and after that I'm almost HOPING to not get Cobbs!! What a crazy backfield - good to know nothing's changed in Denver!!Even though M Bell could still get the job, I'll bet those who spent a high pick on him are a little nervous right now. Of course that doesn't necessarily mean you think Mike Bell will be playing by then either. He could be riding the pine but people will be too afraid to drop him.I voted when the poll first started. Have no idea which way I went. I assume no.Voted no.

Oh, I don't know, maybe they will see another reach on the WW and send Mr. M Bell packing.Edited to say, I didn't mean to imply that Denver will see another reach on the WW, when in fact I meant Denver will insert another player that would be on most FF league waiver wires, like Cecil Sapp or Nash, lol.If people can hold onto Ron Dayne last year, they'll hold onto Mike Bell this year. I voted no, too.
Is there really such a thing as a "reach" on the WW? I mean, it's not like you have your choice between Tomlinson, Alexander, or Mike Bell here.Oh, I don't know, maybe they will see another reach on the WW and send Mr. M Bell packing. If people can hold onto Ron Dayne last year, they'll hold onto Mike Bell this year. My fault that I implied Denver will see another reach on the WW, when in fact I meant Denver will insert another player that would be on most FF league waiver wires, like Cecil Sapp or Nash, lol.SSOG said:Is there really such a thing as a "reach" on the WW? In essentially 7 leagues that I'm in with waivers, he's not available (and never has been) in all seven. I would say that this was a very bad prediction. With all the Mike Bell talk, I predict he will be on most league waiver wires by week 5.
I give him credit for bumping a thread he is 79% wrong on.79% owned in CBS Sportsline leagues. Down from 96% week 1.
Doubt it. JMHO.Injuries are hard to predict, and it'd take a strong history of fumbling for Tatum to ride the pine- a history that he has not, to this point in his career, demonstrated. People usually don't develop bad habits overnight. The real question is.Will Tatum Bell keep his starting job , and the answer is no.Believe me in 2 to 3 weesk Tatum will either get injured or fumble the football too often and get benched .
Then that should have been the thesis of your thread.Yep, I'm pretty sure he's not on most league WW, but he may as well be. I was wrong about that, but I wasn't wrong about the Mike Bell hysteria being ridiculous. Lots of folks paid out the whazoo for this guy, and it wasn't justified. He sucked at Arizona and wasn't drafted for a reason.
I agree with you 100%.Then that should have been the thesis of your thread.Yep, I'm pretty sure he's not on most league WW, but he may as well be. Good call in theory for what it's worth.I agree with you 100%.Then that should have been the thesis of your thread.Yep, I'm pretty sure he's not on most league WW, but he may as well be. I've seen you post this in multiple threasds- and you could not be more wrong about how Shannie handles his RBs and fumbling - they have to have MULTIPLE GAMES of "important" fumbles before he even CONSIDERS benching them.Injuries, I refuse to predict. The real question is.
Will Tatum Bell keep his starting job , and the answer is no.
Believe me in 2 to 3 weesk Tatum will either get injured or fumble the football too often and get benched .
Yer point? How many times do folks need to be shown that Shannie does NOT pull his RBs just for fumbles - they have to fumble multiple times at important parts of the game.First possession in wet weather? Not gonna impact TB at all.1 early fumble.........
I couldn't disagree more, and even if I did agree, Mike Bell isn't that guy who can get it done. If something happen to TB, I can see someone like Cobbs or even Sapp getting a shot. The Mike Bell expierment was short lived. Hell, I don't think it ever got started. Like I said earlier, he went undrafted for a reason. Check out his stats at Arizona while you're at it.Edited to say, in defense of Mike Bell, neither Sapp nor Cobbs were drafted eitherIn a small 10x16 dynasty league I'm cutting him for bye week help but in a larger league I'm definately holding. Dealt him for good value a few weeks ago in another. I will guaruntee that at some point this season he will have value again ... Tatum Bell is not an elite carry the load back. When the weather turns they'll want a between the tackles option.
I'm pretty sure Cobbs was selected in the 5th round by the Pats.Anyways, good call, I waived Mike Bell in 2 of the 3 leagues I owned him in just yesterday. As much as it pains me.Edited to say, in defense of Mike Bell, neither Sapp nor Cobbs were drafted either![]()
Johnny probably forgot to account for the Bronco bye week.you were off by one week, Johnny U - good prediction.

Yes, Cobbs was drafted, and it was in the 4th rd by the patsies.I'm pretty sure Cobbs was selected in the 5th round by the Pats.Anyways, good call, I waived Mike Bell in 2 of the 3 leagues I owned him in just yesterday.
