Rap options are very limited. For as wordy as most rap songs are, the titles really aren't. I am hoping to find a rap song that fits my playlists theme.

I gave up on the theme idea awhile ago, just trying to branch away from the same artists I always end up picking.  Which I've failed by picking Los Campesinos! and Michael Jackson (and I know I've taken ATCQ once or twice before), but hey it's a 20-round draft.  Plenty of time to make up for it

With A Little Help From My Friends (2017 Love Rocks NYC at The Beacon Theatre)

The video seems to be a balcony shot from this past Thursday's Love Rocks NYC event at The Beacon, but the sound is decent.  Susan Tedeschi (white dress) does a great job here along with Marc Cohn (the solo male singer at center mic).

Two articles on the show - the first article here from Billboard with a recap and setlist - any show with the aforementioned PLUS Sam Moore, Mavis Staples, Dr. John, Gary Clark Jr., Jackson Browne, Michael McDonald and I can keep going on, but this show would have been a great to see.  Completely dropped the ball on getting to this one.

Have you ever heard the Chromeo remix?  I like the original plenty, but this may be a rare case where I prefer the remix.  It adds a nice funk vibe to the song.

Good song, awfulawfulawful album. An attempt to expand the cinematic song format developed in Cinema Show and Battle of Epping Forest (either of which would likely have blown up into magnificent concept albums) on their previous album that simply doesnt work. Because progmeister disappointments like Topographic Oceans, Passion Play and this occured around the same time and pretty much crashed the genre, i've tried to ameliorate my bitterness by separately going back and trying to forgive each of them and nope.

Those three poison apples rendered the Goddess of Prog moribund, where she lies this day but for a prince's kiss. I purely hope my Alice or Kill the Sun musicals hit if only so i can afford studio/musicians to work on my Adventure Music (two concept albums i began w my last arranger - Eldorado, about man's taste for quests and Flight, songs about the various stages of its development) projects, that spirited lip may enliven the form again.
