One of the best things about music is that occasionally you get the chance to fall in love without being unfaithful to anyone. I'm a lil behind in my 6+WMTD listening and have been listening to this fella since i linked to this this morning. Oh, the mystery! The mystery that is the beauty others find to serve in a way only they can. The mystery that i (poor ol man) havent heard him in the 15+ years he's been doing it is only matched by my wonder that a producer has not managed to corral that into a greatness for the many to be improved by. The mystery that people so willingly stop at the doorstep of SO MUCH MORE. Oh, the mystery!!
Yeah Sufjan is a character and made some very unique music. He has a lot of Christmas albums as well. They are unique (obviously).

A little nervous, I've left maybe 2 of the most popular songs that fit my theme hanging around. Hope I can snatch them up soon.

Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite! - The Beatles

No youtube link, but on spotify.  Always dug this tune and fits with the far out thing my mix has going on.

9.21 - Have You Passed Through This Night? - Explosions In The Sky - Those Who Tell The Truth Shall Die, Those Who Tell The Truth Shall Live Forever

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cr1w9liUjE

An unfortunate date for its release. 9/10/01, with the words inscribed "this plane will crash tomorrow" on the cover. Probably the weirdest coincidence in rock history.

This great evil, where'd it come from?

How'd it steal into the world?

@Mr. Ected, right?

Is the title of the song just "Have You Passed Through This Night?"

I'll do mine in a sec.

Away from computer so can't link yet

9.23 - Cypress Hill, How I Could Just Kill a Man

Decided to go for some rap/hip-hop after all since I'd be reaching for some cheesy stuff if I tried to get 20 rockish songs.

Even with the timer off, we can still do 2x OTC at a time.  I realize it's getting a little wacky with the # of autoskips though.

I know Black Sunday doesn't get a lot of love , but I thought the samples and production were superior to their S/t.  some of those upright bass loops on a couple of those tracks were amazing.
I played the crap outta it.  It hust doesn't hold up for me.  It was $ pulling up to school in my boys red Toyota Celica (wearing flannel-top buttoned) though.

I have no idea of what band I was thinking of as Explosions in the Sky but this wasn't it :bag:

Pretty solid though
