The decision to go for it was only part of it. The lack of any play action threat, going for a deep pass anyways, getting called for holding on fourth and short, throwing it way off target, to a receiver who didn't have a step on his defender, and the lackluster attempt by the receiver to get there added up to a play that had virtually no chance for success.

my brother turns the channel to another game (sundays) after a TD and turns it back exactly 7 minutes later. almost always spot on for the first play of the drive.
