***MNF OFFICIAL THREAD: Titans @ Saints*** (1 Viewer)

This New Orleans O-line is absolutely horrendous. They just lose the line of scrimmage on every single play. There are no running lanes. There is nowhere for Deuce or Bush to go. On screen passes, there is always a defender that gets into the backfield. If Brees drops back to pass, there is constant pressure. He has no time to throw. One of the worst O-line performances I've ever seen with the exception of the Texans pre 2007.

You know the Saint could really use a RB that has a lot of NFL experience and is a proven 1,000+ yard rusher in this league. Something to balance out all the cute plays. Whatever happen to Deuce McAlliaster? Maybe he's available.

they are playing the shiny toy instead of the reliable sedan . . .

Bush is not the problem, and neither is Deuce. The problem is the OL. They are ajust plain terrible! Deuce and Bush have nowhere to rubn and they are not giving Brees any time at all to throw. Did they make major changes to the line from last year? They're aweful.

Deuce is 4.4 per on the season.

Anybody watched Deuce this year? He looks like last year's Corey Dillon.
he's doing a lot better than Bush . . .

Isn't the point of a screen to let them through to overpursue the QB and then have the RB catch it without an D-lineman in front of him?

Not at the spot where the screen is going.

Is it just me or do the announces keep mentioning FatDale's "strength"? I just assumed he move the pile with that big gut.

is Lendale carrying another football under his jersey in case he fumbles? this guy makes Ron Dayne look like Carl Lewis

Bush looks so determined to run between the tackles this year instead of bouncing everything outside (as I'm sure the coaches have yelled at him to do) that he just lowers his head and barrels into the back of his linemen and falls over. Meanwhile Deuce has been so slow he's made Lenwhale look fast and been so weak he's made Darren Sproles look strong thusfar this year. And all the while the O-line can't runblock for anything.Quite a mess they've got going on there.

Isn't this stupid to put Bush in there with Deuce just getting hurt? WTF

Edit: meaning putting him in for the punt return. No reason to have Bush in there.
