Movies you can't wait to watch with your kids (1 Viewer)

Field of Dreams
right on bromigo that is a great one
My entire family's favorite movie. We're a baseball family, and as the only son, it holds a special connection with my father and I.

My oldest son, who is now 4, was born in November. His first Christmas, when only a month old, Field of Dreams was on television that night. He was fussy and mom was understandably tired. I grabbed a bottle and watch it in the rocking chair with him sleeping on my lap. I'll never forget that.

Oh, and take that to the bank.
Awesome. You took the mask off I hope. I have a similar memory of my daughter falling asleep on my chest by our Christmas tree when she was 8 days old.
brohan that is some good memories right there have a great christmas and watch it again tonight you got to hold on tight those first years because man they go by so fast and you do not get them back take that to the bank bromigos

Merry Christmas Bronie Loves Chachi.

Finally did Star Wars, and that was a blast. Soon will also be some of my favorite 80s movies like Back to the Future and Karate Kid. Still about 6-7 years away for stuff like Die Hard and Aliens.

On a side note, i didn't know i was such a movie prude until i read threads like this and others around here. I know some is due to my son being sensitive, but just cant see kids his age (just turned 8) watching the new marvel movies, 11 year olds watching R movies, etc. Just find it odd, but seem to be in the minority.

Wait until 2015 for Back to the Future. Then it will be 30 years in the Future from when the movie was made. I'd say the world is even more different now than it was in 1985 than the difference between 85 and 55.

Good idea, but damn you just made me feel old.

My son randomly brought empire strikes back with us for Christmas eve to the in laws. 45 min ride so he watched until Yoda. Working it in.

I made it a 80/90s summer movie this past summer.

Kids are 8/6.

Watched

E.T.

Gremlins

Goonies

Honey I shrunk the kids

Thought there was a couple more. Was fun watching those with them. They got really into them.

Went all over looking for reeses pieces to leave out for E.T.

Kids and I watched The Blues Brothers this morning. They had never seen it before. We didn't get to watch all of it as they had to go over to their moms with about 45 minutes.

We got the Ray Charles scene and they were both :lmao: :lmao: when he pulled out the gun and scared the kid
