This whole thread is just bizarre. But, then it's exactly what I expect from the FFA. Nobody takes anything seriously. If you asked for FFA help to remove a stain, I'm certain someone would tell you to mix bleach and ammonia together. (for the short bus people, this makes poison.)
I question everything that is posted in FFA. There are too many inside jokes and odd comments. For all we know a couple of guys made a bet to see who can get the most members to say "thoughts and prayers" in response to a thread. Would this surprise me? nope.
Either way, if me being a sucker helps someone feel better and I don't end up looking like an ##### (HT) then so be it.
Fin, sorry for your loss. I'd say thoughts and prayers, but I don't pray and honestly, I will probably start watching TV in a few, and stop thinking altogether.

I'm not sure the way to make people believe your story is to gamble on the supposed death of your close friend. I'm also pretty sure I wouldn't spend a bunch of time posting on a message board when mourning and helping another friend through his brother dying. But that's just me - good luck to you.

I'm not gambling on my friend dying. He's dead. I have some photos of the memorial we had for him at sunset at the hotel. The flowers, the card from.the hotel staff and another card a bunch of randoms staying here signed. That's what's important..The impact he had on friends as well as strangers. These are people he would bump into in the elevator...buying cards and flowers.

He talked to everyone he saw. Picture Chris Farley with curly hair...always laughing, joking and smiling. No its not a flop house. We're all here for work.

I'm not being a #### here, and I'm not saying I don't believe Finless.. but why would anything on facebook be confirmation? People don't make #### up on facebook?

Like I said and I won't say another word about this. I really don't believe more than one or two posters thought this was fishing. Sure I went out, bought flowers and cards and laid them on a picnic table, went to the local shelter and picked up a beagle. Then I created 30 Facebook accounts complete with photos and started making posts about my friend all so I could get some attention from the FFA. You know I've never really been able to get anyone to post in my threads or whip up a bit of controversy.
No different than the strange situation at my house or my attempts at shaking my heroin addiction, or living on the lam for 5 years, or making really good money in the contracting biz, or dating beautiful women constantly, or going to Vegas all the time to gambool, or being shot and stabbed (still have the scars).
I mean this is a fantasy football message board afterall. I knew that when I joined here. Figured that's not really my peer demographic from the jump. I'm into it because on top of all the other #### in my life I love a challenge, I'm very analytical, I love sports, gambling, #### talking and competition. I also like doing everything big and trying to get the most out of life (like my buddy Ant). Figured it would make for good stories for the guys who have lived differently than me and it has. I haven't made up too much in this place. I've had enough escapades to post a decent story daily. Do you care, maybe not. But when I'm reading Vanity Fair and I dont like or agree with an article, I just skip it. You know you really got them when they accuse you of fishing or lying or being an idiot or any number of things and they just continue. You're in their head. I don't care to be in anyone's head. I just like to share stories with people and maybe some good shtick for everyone will come out of it.
Was never looking for sympathy here. Just to vent and deal with the losses I had last week. Lesson Learned...again. Thanks for the support.

Also why do you care whether strangers on the internet believe if one of your friends died.
