Hey Folks. We’re OK here, but my wife's dad died last night. He'd been my father-in-law for 36 years.
He was a tough guy. There aren’t that many 15+ year Pancreatic Cancer survivors, but he was one. Finally a host of things got him but he lived a long and productive life to 82.
I’ve always said he gave me a great gift as he made being his son-in-law exceptionally easy.
He and my wife had a strong relationship and were always super tight. He had a massive influence in helping her become the woman she is and for that I’m forever grateful.
She is good. She’s sad of course. But the last year has been rough.
Don’t need anything at all but wanted to let this community know about something that was personal to me.
I'm super grateful for the long time I had to spend with him and thankful for how he was so welcoming to me into his family.
Much love for y'all.
