Still underappreciated and generally speaking unknown.Going Thursday and have an extra ticket. Can't give it away.
Killed it?Holy #### what a show.
Totally killed it. No new album.Killed it?
Do they have a new album out? I forgot to give The Waterfall a listen. Need to do that.
Anyone want them? Front row lower bowl, sec 901 close to stage, paid $63 will take $40 each. Weather looks great.I've got 4 tix July 15 at Forrest Hills in NYC, Gary Clark Jr opening. Great seats. Can't go, if anyone is interested let me know.
thanks gb... we have something going that night, but I'll check with the boss lady.Anyone want them? Front row lower bowl, sec 901 close to stage, paid $63 will take $40 each. Weather looks great.
@El Floppo ?
Disregard, just unloaded themthanks gb... we have something going that night, but I'll check with the boss lady.
tbh- I like what I've heard, but for some reason never really dived in to listen more than a song or two. there's likely a bigger fan around who would appreciate these more than me.
Noticed the same thing. If I don't get Steam Engine and/or Phone Went West I'm a little disappointed. Bummed not to be going to FH, looks like a great venue. The 10pm curfew is a drag though.Headed to Forest Hills, might head down to MPP.
10 pm curfew at the former, 11 pm at the latter. I think MPP is the only true shot at getting a full blown 2.5 hour jacket set with some gems thrown in (the sets on the most recent leg have been so incredibly Waterfall heavy and short due to curfew - I dig those songs, but I'm greedy and want some of the big classics off of the earlier stuff).
They have been starting REALLY early. 6pm for opener.Noticed the same thing. If I don't get Steam Engine and/or Phone Went West I'm a little disappointed. Bummed not to be going to FH, looks like a great venue. The 10pm curfew is a drag though.
Well, last night in VT they opened with Steam Engine and closed with PWW...great set list in between, heavier on old stuff.Nigel said:Noticed the same thing. Looks like you got a good one last night.![]()
Friends were in attendance. Got to watch a few live streams, including one with Broemel going nuts during Phone Went West. So great.

heck of a setlist, for sureSince this post about a year ago, I did find audio. It starts at Curtain though. But I'll take it!
Nothing scheduled.OK, admittedly I suck at this internet-thingy. MMJ website shows their upcoming dates as 2016. And Ticketmaster is a no-show, too. Are they on-tour at the moment? I'm fiending a bit. Thanks.
Really pumped to see Jim with just his acoustic guitar in November. Should be a pretty great setting at this Cleveland venue he's playing at. Entire catalog is in play. Are you making the trip up?Jim doing solo tour November about a dozen shows.
yes, it's his "full band" not MMJ.During the interview portion of the KCRW link last week Jim mentions "full band" October dates to get people out to register to vote. I think he means his side band though. Still, something to watch for.
His acoustic set at Newport was great last year.Really pumped to see Jim with just his acoustic guitar in November. Should be a pretty great setting at this Cleveland venue he's playing at. Entire catalog is in play. Are you making the trip up?
Wonder if they'd stick out west or hit some of the highly contested mid-term states....will be interesting to see what they do. Would be worth it if it's a short driving distance.yes, it's his "full band" not MMJ.
Never know with him. He hates repeats on stands. His acoustic set at Newport was great last year.
I am catching the two NYC shows. Probably in for mostly repeat sets, but screw it.
I sorta misspoke. Port Chester + NYC, not a 2 night stand (wish it was).Never know with him. He hates repeats on stands.
Not currently planning to.Really pumped to see Jim with just his acoustic guitar in November. Should be a pretty great setting at this Cleveland venue he's playing at. Entire catalog is in play. Are you making the trip up?
Yup, big fan.Y'all ever listen to Carl Bromel's solo stuff? New to this party, but jesus, he's got some good stuff out there. 4th of July![]()
