Agreed. The pair that basically found that huge cave with drinkable water everywhere....seriously? All you have to do is find 1 big meal mid way through and you're good. Snakes are by far the easiest food source too. They make them out to be so dangerous, but they really are only dangerous if you step on one accidentally or something. A boa is pure food, and not that hard to catch.

Stop giving them fire starters, and stop giving them water. My guess is that after that one chick last season drank bad water and was hospitalized, they got worried about someone actually dying...which is half the reason many of us watch...

Yeah, meanwhile the woman (hot one!) caught a crab with her bare hands then speared a fish. He countered by whining about her losing the fire starter then killing a snake that didn't even try to get away then triumphantly dropping it off back at camp. Very impressed by that chick. Wouldn't be surprised to see her do another episode.

I feel like the show has largely become just sitting around and keeping a fire alive for 21 days. The people don't even make an effort to find any food for themselves. I feel like an increase in the time is in order to force people to seek out some form of nutrition.

Yea i think this is the big difference between the first season and the last 2. Lots of laying around. I agree, extend it to 30 days. I would rather see a few people fail then everyone basically fasting the entire time. And i love how easily folks can get to extraction now too.

I just finished up watching last nights Argentina episode. I thought it was one of the better I've seen so far. Crazy conditions but they did very well to make it. Even though they didn't work, that guy made some insanely good traps.

That article is a bit misleading. It was a 15 minute episode that was clearly just a comedy routine. I'm guessing it was filmed in about 2 hours total time and probably in some forest in California. It was pretty funny though, just not a real thing.

Thought it was a really good episode. They were a good team, both with skills.

Definitely could have made shoes if he wanted them.

Guy made a backpack, a noose on a pole to catch the alligator, a smoker to cook the meat so it would last, a spear for fishing.

They showed a fish trap they made in the background.

He even made a fancy palm frond necklace to wear on his trek out and a flag to signal the people to pick him up.

Hardcore.

My wife was pissed at the show when his final rating was not significantly higher. This guy was easily the best hunter the show has ever had. Usually the people just rot away and don't eat anything. I think if he was left out there another couple weeks he would prosper. Guy freaking threw a spear and hit a catfish. He showed common sense when refusing to rush into the alligator den too.
