Regardless of what spot I draft in, I see absolutely zero chance of me taking any of the following players. I have no desire to see them on my team either due to what I see as being limited upside, not reliable, etc:

Cadillac Williams

Reggie Bush (if I played in a PPR league I would but I don't)

Lawrence Maroney

Terrell Owens

Borderline - Clinton Portis

You?

Larry Johnson

Reggie Bust

Chad Johnson

Peyton Manning

Cadillac Williams

Tom Brady

Cedric Benson

Laurence Maroney

Thomas Jones

Willis McGahee

These players would have to fall pretty far for me to consider drafting them.

Im all over TO in the top 3 rounds this year.Reggie bush in PPR leagues is a top 10 pickYou worried aoubt Maroney's shoulder enough to not take a mid 2nd round pick on him?

Mine...within reason. If a player falls to far, I'm taking him, but these guys definetly have to fall at least 8 spots behind their ADP.

Shaun Alexander - too worried about the OLine, and that he just doesn't have the "it" factor anymore.

Anquan Boldin - I don't get the hype to be honest, never did. Unless Peyton Manning is throwing the ball, I'm not drafting a WR2 that early. Last year clearly showed that Larry Fitzgerald is WR1, WR1A, and WR1B. Anquan is WR2. New "run happy" offense supposedly. I'm just not going to get involved with Boldin.

Brandon Jacobs - I've seen him going in the late 2nd round in 2 of my drafts. I'll draft a Thomas Jones or Cedric Benson before a wholly unproven overhyped back. I know this is a sleeper pick for lots of you out there - this is a bust pick for me.
last yearBoldin - 152 targets in 16 games

Fitz - 108 targets in 13 games

:lmao:

Great list. This looks like mine except I'm going to include LT just because I don't have the #1 pick in any of my leagues.

I would absolutely never take:

Clinton Portis - got burned last year; only downhill from here

Shaun Alexander - likewise; 05 was a fluke

Travis Henry - everyone talks like he's guaranteed 15+ TDs; he has upside, but there are no guarantees

Willis McGahee - I'd take him in the 4th round, but he'd never last that long. Just watching that video of his leg breaking makes me want to draft someone else

Steve Smith - He burned me last year, too; he has a perennially disappointing team, a disappointing QB, he gets injured; he's a TD machine, but Ocho Cinco's less of an injury risk and I'd take Reggie Wayne or Marvin Harrison over Smith any day of the week

Players that would need to drop quite a ways from their current ADP:

Larry Johnson

Frank Gore

Shaun Alexander (basically, if I don't have a top 2 pick, I don't want a top 5)

Ced Benson

Brandon Jacobs

Players I won't be able to draft because they'll be taken before I would, but they wouldn't have to drop as far for me to take them.

Edge

MJD

Holt

Maroney

Henry

Maroney--Injury concerns too much for me.

Benson--See above

MJD--I don't see him repeating this year

Lynch--I'm not convinced he's going to be the primary ball carrier this year

DeAngelo Williams--Definitely don't think he'll even get the majority of the carries. Even if he does, Foster will eat into too much of his #'s and Carolina just doesn't run the ball well

Alexander--I love the guy, but he'd have to be in the 2nd round for me to take him (and mid to late 2nd round)

Edge--He's going way too high for me. I wouldn't touch him until late 3rd or 4th round.

MJD - Seems to be going waaay too early considering he'll be splitting carries and likely giving up carries at the goalline.

Tom Brady

Carson Palmer

(not that I don't think they are worthy of 3rd round picks, I just won't take a QB that early).

Rudi Johnson

(ok...yeah...if he were there in the late second he would be hard to pass up).

Edgerin James

Marques Colston

Players that i will not take in the first round likely to go there:

Clinton Portis - injury to your first rounder and your toast

Brian Westbrook - injury to your first rounder and your toast II

Laurence Maroney - injury to your first rounder and your toast III

yes, anyone can get hurt but all of these are/have been gimpy already, i'll let someone else take that chance in the first

Gore may be the exception to this as i think he has had alot of time now since injury

RB's Shaun Alexander (old, and crack bones) Cadillac (nagging injuries 1TD last 15 games, QB issues), Henry (You never know w/ Shannahany)

WR's TO (due for a meltdown), Ocho Cinco

Seriously?

He's not even 26 years old yet!

Sounds like you like to hold a grudge...

Likely won't be taking a qb in the first 3 rounds. T. Jones, I would like in the 4th round not third.

Tom Brady

Drew Brees

Thomas Jones

Carson Palmer

Peyton Manning

I wouldn't draft D. Williams in the 3rd either, but thankfully his adp is in the 5th round right now.

Hulk-here's another.G Jones is going to be the FULLBACK. He is not going to vulture many TD's from MJD.

Ha ha... this is great.I think you just listed my top undervalued players in the first 2 rounds.

surprised a now healthy TO is on so many of the lists... I think he has a great shot on improving on his league leading TD grabs this year and pile up some yards.

Portis.. never had him, never will

P. Manning .. always goes high 2nd, I never take a QB that early.

Brandon Jacobs ... not sold on him at all. He would have to fall to th 6th Rd.

DW isnt going in the first threee rounds currently. :wall: But maybe after he is slotted as the#1 at Carolina's camp there is big change. :unsure:I think im likely to stay clear of 1st-2nd-3rd...Rudi JohnsonRonnie BrownTom Brady

Last year clearly showed that Larry Fitzgerald is WR1, WR1A, and WR1B. Anquan is WR2. New "run happy" offense supposedly. I'm just not going to get involved with Boldin.
:confused:Of the 13 weeks they played together, Boldin had 9 weeks with as many or more targets than Fitz.

TSN had a nice quote from Adrian Wilson.Asked who is the hardest working guy in camp... And Adrian Wilson said - "besides myself, the hardest worker is Anquan Boldin".To me, when you have that much talent and work hard, good things happen.
