Narcos on netflix (1 Viewer)

I liked the first season more but I have no complaints about season 2. I was actually concerned going in because I thought it might be stretched out too much considering where they left off but they did a good job.

It wasn't Breaking Bad level good but I thoroughly enjoyed it and buzzed thru both seasons quickly. I've highly recommended to friends who also commented they though it was a very good show.

I think I preferred S2- IIRC, S1 had a lot of voiceover/narration that I felt got in the way of things... still liked it though.

Not gonna read this thread, but I'm in the first season, about 5 or 6 episodes in.   Two comments: 1) The actor playing Pablo isn't Colombian and Spanish isn't his first language.  It's been hard to get past sometimes.  2) If I watch the show just before bed (which I kinda have to since I have little kids) it gives me crazy violent dreams.

Thanks, coca!

There were two nights when I had Narcos related dreams as well. In one of them, I was assembling "cartels" with people at work in order to get #### done more efficiently.

Everyone I know tells me this show is in my wheelhouse. I have a 30 day free pass to Netflix so I guess I'll have to binge it.

Come on moneybags, it's 8 bucks a month. You've spent more than that on 4 minutes with a gross DC stripper who still has to wear clothes.

I have low expectations, but truthfully I wasn't expecting a Season 3 anyway, so it's better than nothing!
I really liked both seasons so I expect S3 to be equally as good. It might actually be better without the constraints of a main target.

Well that sucked, I binged season 3 already and now I have nothing to watch today :sadbanana:  I really enjoyed this season.

Held off for 2 days cuz we are RIGHT into Blacklist (what a show. so slick, great writing.. with just the right amount of "cheese" that's it's more enjoyable than stressful)

Really put off by no Escobar in this season... But gonna watch it 100%.

:lmao: I've never gotten in to binging shows. Don't get the rush. It'll probably take us 2 months to get through the show. I like looking forward to episodes.

IMO s3 was the best one, I watched the first four episodes over a week, sat down to watch episode 5 and didn't move until s3 was finished. Just couldn't stop.

I'm about mid way through the season.  It's fantastic and the young lady everyone is talking about is so, so lovely. Go visit the "In Praise of the Lovely Ladies" thread for more.

yes finished up season 3 last week.  i was amazed how good it was without pablo.  cast is great.  godfathers of cali were great.  good drama.  my expectations werent high for season 3 but i came away very impressed

Enjoyed first 2.  Watched first episode of the 3rd and not feeling it. Can't get into it as much without Don Pablo.
