It is supposed to be minor, but knee surgery in the off season always gets my attention. I had slotted Damian Williams into the slot and into the fantasy irrelevant for 2012, but maybe this means he will be worth owning after all. Britt is coming back from his own ACL and MCL injury and surgery.

Having a bone spur/chip removed is very minor in most cases. I had one in my ankle for about 5 years before I just got tired of the sharp pain it caused two/three times a year. I was walking around and feeling fine 2 days after surgery. As long as the chip didn't cause any muscle or ligament damage, I wouldn't even think twice about this.
