Hard to get a good fit with so few teams playing. Going with as many Portland players as possible against the Bobcats.

I was messing around with some freerolls last night on other sites and I came up with alot of the same players you guys have listed today. Just put in a placeholder entry on 4 contests so it looks like I need to get back to my hotel and do some updating.

Larry Sanders has been good to me lately. Blocks have been steady points, but I am always worried he's going to put up a dud soon. Seems too good to last.

Klay killed me tonight.

I really like the chances of Pargo/Gibson getting more shots tonight. I'm assuming Marquis Daniels is starting again instead of Harris?
Gibson scores 5 FP on only 6 FG attempts and I come in 2nd place(out of the money) by 7 points. Can't figure that guy out. Seems like his production and even playing time is in no way linked to what is going on in the CLE backcourt. Daniels was also a bad call but was more of a cheap flyer on a guy that MIGHT be starting a string of more PT.

Frustrating night.

Was 16th in my expert league last nite with a score of 233. Only made the money by 5 points. Strange thing is that I feel like I crushed it with Gordon geting 36 and the Portland getting me 121. Pargo was a value posting 22. May mess around a little more, but this just dosen't seem the least bit soft. Between late scratches and the vig, not sure there's any profit potential here.

This one was good for 275, despite Paul and Thompson. I also hit a 4 team parlay! :excited:

Thank goodness Curry woke up in the 2nd H. Cashed 2 out of 3 (295pts and 280pts, lost 265pts only 7pts off). I'm getting a little bored of nickel diming. Have to change something up when I get back home. Good luck tonight.

Cashed this lineup in the GPPs and my 50/50s last night. Wish I would have played Affalo over Klay Thompson in the GPP...would have been a nice payday.

Yeah, hoping that he does *something* and the fact I get to spend so much elsewhere gets me over the hump.

What $ games are you guys playing?

Last night just played $5 5-teamer 60k cap just for my first card.

Is there a $ level, league size, or cap amount that you guys find to be a bit easier to play a against. Filled with some n00bs?

Are those huge 2k+ league size worth it?

Also generally what is an "average" game for a 60k and a 50k cap league points wise?

I play the $5 and $10 games with an occasional $25 H2H matchI only play in the 60k salary games. I'd say if you are scoring 280 you'll do well in the small games (3 teamers, H2H)

Honestly it's hard to tell, I've won H2H matchups with 180 and lost with 280.

With the same number of games tonight (as last night), it seems infinitely harder putting together a lineup I feel good about.

Blatche, Love, and Bryant are all must plays tonight for me, I just need find a lineup I am happy with...

Its tough on nights where 4 or more of the "big guys" are playing. Hard to decide who to leave out. For me tonight its the OKC guys. BKN usually plays good D. They'll still get theirs though, just hoping it's not the monster night for KD or Westbrook

Agreed on the OKC guys. I started playing DraftStreet this year instead of FanDuel. Hit a home run last night and won the daily $2 550-person league for a $200 win.

I really like DraftStreet so far - draft rooms are really efficient for the live drafts, and the salaries fluctuate quickly to keep it challenging. They also offer pick em leagues, where you pick players off 8 different lists. If anyone wants to consider joining, my recruiting link is http://www.draftstreet.com/register.aspx?r=johnbender

For tonight, I assume the Chicago back court is cheap. Pick two of the 3 (Hinrich, Belinelli, Butler) depending on how cheap you need to go.

Also, Kobe is a must play tonight with his recent statements to the press (plus the fact that Gasol is out). Jamison is probably a value play too, but I don't plan to use Duhon, no matter how cheap he is.

Finally, I'm using Pattick Patterson and Jeremy Lin a lot. Lakers defense is soft, and Jamison isn't going to help.

Hinrich

Harden

Gasol

Only problem is when Miami blows out Wash and half my cap is sitting the 4th quarter.

Stayed away from the MIA players because of a likely Heat blowout. Don't like the C match ups. Lots of big men colliding tonight. I like the Noah vs IND because he can out hustle Hibbert and against IND tough D he should get some assists for the rest of his team. Blatche/Jamison are too cheap to pass up for me. Allowed me to get some a solid group of smalls IMO.

When do they calculate salaries? Seems crazy that injured stars who aren't supposed to play are commanding top dollar.

They haven't really messed with those guys since the season started (like Dirk, Rose etc.)It doesn't really matter what their salary is if they aren't playing imo.

Well what about for players playing? Do they adjust them based on performance, demand, etc on a certain time period? Just trying to figure out how long do some "cheap" players stay that way.

It seems to me it's based on the average points they score over a period of time. Injured dudes that haven't played this year have their averages from last year. Guys like say Blatche that haven't been starting until now have a really low average, but as it rises his salary rises.

Fun nite.

Hung on for dear life to money in a 50/50. Finished 21th with 4 guys one pt back and 1 guy 2 pts back. They had Memphis/Pho players going, I didn't.

Finished 4th in a 50/50 expert with a 254.

Finished 13th ina 50/50 that I started Brook Lopez.

Lin/Martin/Love stunk it up in another to prevent a sweep.

Thanks to those of you recommending Blatche, Jamison, and Duhan. Allowed me to load up on Kobe, Randolf, Harden, Durant.

I think this is the first time all year I didn't use Randolph when MEM was playing. WOW
Same here.Still ended up winning a 5-teamer by 4 points. Didn't quite break 300 like you did but defeating someone that scored 294 is pretty satisfying.I had Richardson/Howarnd instead of Bryant/Gortat.
