I retract my post.
his son is active on twitter. he posts updates every once in a whileDudes, how's Craig Sager doing? Wife wanted to know. Didn't find anything on a quick google search but I didn't dig too deep.
He's only missed 9 shots tonight. Hasn't made any, but he's keeping his misses down.Kobe's attacking the rim, with contested jumpers.
It's obviously great fun to make fun of Kobe doing work, but of the Laker games I've caught this year, they actually seem to be playing better tonight than usual. He's only missed 9 shots tonight. Hasn't made any, but he's keeping his misses down.Kobe's attacking the rim, with contested jumpers.
It's the first game that I've seen where Kobe has been a willing passer. Makes a pretty big difference. It's obviously great fun to make fun of Kobe doing work, but of the Laker games I've caught this year, they actually seem to be playing better tonight than usual. He's only missed 9 shots tonight. Agreed. I should probably retract the compliment at this point though. They are terrible. It's the first game that I've seen where Kobe has been a willing passer. :spurseast:Hawks with 4 wins in a row. They've started the season well. Tonight's game @Cle should be interesting. If they could win tonight then they have a good shot at being 8-3 with games against the Wizards And Raptors after that.
Hayward and Favors at least doing the best they can to kind of sort of justify those contracts. Good on them.Gordon Hayward looks great this year.
Also, even though completely unsustainable, there's not much in the NBA so far this year more impressive than Kyle Korver leading the NBA with almost 4 threes a game, while knocking them down at a .577 clip.:spurseast:Hawks with 4 wins in a row. While that's a wonderful compliment it's laughable. I've been a fan 40 years and I can assure you they are nothing like the Spurs.:spurseast:Hawks with 4 wins in a row. They've started the season well. Tonight's game @Cle should be interesting. If they could win tonight then they have a good shot at being 8-3 with games against the Wizards And Raptors after that.
I wouldn't say that at all. They've developed a similar organizational philosophy in terms of building the team and utilizing the players, and are being coached brilliantly by a straight-up Pop disciple. While that's a wonderful compliment it's laughable. fixedI mean I like to bag on Kobe as much as the next guy, and I understand the other guys on the team are shooting at a higher clip, but do you really think they'd be better if if he deferred more to Boozer and the rest of those clowns? He's in a no-win situation (I understand much of that is his own doing, so no sympathy) but I still think Kobe's best chance to break more scoring records is for Kobe to get a ton of shots up.
It isn't about deferring. It is about making the right play. Last night he was actively looking to pass and the team played rather well. Had his shot been falling they may have had a chance at winning. The previous 7-8 games all he did was look for his own at the expense of his team. Yes, his teammates are terrible but they're still able to make shots if they're involved in the offence. That stretch he had a few years back when he was getting 10-12 assists a night is what the team needs. Not him getting a wildly inefficient 25 points a night.I mean I like to bag on Kobe as much as the next guy, and I understand the other guys on the team are shooting at a higher clip, but do you really think they'd be better if if he deferred more to Boozer and the rest of those clowns? Even though everyone seems to believe Kobe stays with the Lakers, I think they will agree to a buy out next year. The losing will be too much for him.when does Kobe flip out for good?
Why do you hate proper English?Stop spelling stuff all Canadian-like cliff. You think you're better than me?
LOL. If only Kobe knew how to play winning basketball as well as Cliff from the interwebz. It isn't about deferring. It is about making the right play. Let's all pretend that I never posted this.AAABatteries said:Hawks with 4 wins in a row. They've started the season well. Tonight's game @Cle should be interesting. If they could win tonight then they have a good shot at being 8-3 with games against the Wizards And Raptors after that.
Mavs didn't even look good tonight. There were moments but...lots of sloppy play and the ball stuck a lot more than usual.wolves might not win again until rubio comes back
This is the height of how good the Cav's can be.Let's all pretend that I never posted this.AAABatteries said:Hawks with 4 wins in a row. They've started the season well. They were scary. I never doubted that they would get it together and they'll still have some growing pains but they are too talented to not be there at the end. Your just ran into a team on a hot run.
19 3's was a Cavs franchise record and hitting their 1st 11 attempts is just ridiculous.
What is the assist/ assist record? Should the bottom one be steals?Paul Gasol is 1 of 6 players to go for
16K+ points
8K+ rebounds
3K+ assists
1.5K+ assists
in their career.
Jabbar
Olajuon
Chamberlein
Duncan
Garnett
If anyone has any doubt Pau belongs in the HoF especially adding in his International play they are nuts.

Played extremely well last night. Tough stretch this week though...Denver on Monday...Spurs on Wednesday...at Washington Friday and home to Toronto Saturday. They were scary. Out of curiosity I used steals rather than blocks, Hakeem and Garnett made that last as well, along with Barkley, Karl Malone, Bird and Kidd.blocksWhat is the assist/ assist record? Should the bottom one be steals?Paul Gasol is 1 of 6 players to go for

If he continues to play like he has since he joined the Kings, its a bargain.3/40 for gay is really not that bad of a deal.
It's a very good deal. I think he would have got more than that on the market. I thought the Kings would have to overpay to keep him.3/40 for gay is really not that bad of a deal.
