I agree 100% I may be confused about whether he has already admitted to the conduct. Has he previously admitted to the assault?

He never admitted to hitting his girlfriend. I think his girlfriend actually called the police on a similiar incident and then she subsequently dropped any charges. Her word isn't exactly golden at this point either. People around here seem to think that anyone that sticks up for Marshall thinks he is also a great guy. I DONT. I just think he deserves to be heard and grow up a little bit. If it is proven that he hit his girlfriend then I will agree that he deserves as much jail or suspension that the courts/league give him.

fine, i agree. Everyone can have their opinion. But when you go to court for an offense you are innocent until proven guilty. Not guilty until proven innocent because of your track record. That is the way our legal system is designed. It isnt an opinion.

So I don't believe this to be a new case to the NFL as they were investigating, however, the charges do seem new, coming out September 10th.

If Marshall didn't mention that there could be outstanding charges (a la Vick at the draft in 07, deny everything), the league might come down on him with both feet.Stay tuned...

But what was there to mislead him about if said charges had never been pressed? This seems to me like a case of vindictiveness by his ex, her sisters, maybe even the police, due to Brandon's reduced suspension and his early success. Never underestimate the power of jealousy.

And, if this story is true (I've yet to see a legitimate news outlet carry the story - PFT doesn't count), then I'd still be suspicious about the strength of the case, given that there was a 6 month delay in the filing of charges - that suggests either late reporting or evidentiary problems. I don't see this as being fantasy relevant until next season. Unless you have him in my leagues - then trade the turd to me at a discount please.
