New Orleans Saints @ Seattle Seahawks Playoff Thread (2 Viewers)

You've got to think Brees and Payton have something drawn up, expect a shot deep; some play-action, imo.
Wow, what insight.
Because you're a wealth of knowledge in the football threads.
ZOMG LIMPY NOTICED ME!11!1!1!11 BETTER THAN A SEAHAWKS WIN!!!!!11!
Is there a pill for the caps lock problem that seems to be ailing you?
or maybe one for the case of raging#######noonelikesyouenza you've come down with?

I guess no concussion protocol for Harvin eh?
He was evaluated in the locker room.
For some reason I thought guys couldn't come back regardless of the test results. I thought that's what happened with Keenan Lewis last week, but maybe not.
Why test them if they're not allowed to come back?
I thought the idea was they may lie and any suspicion of concussion prevents teams from letting them back in. Not trying to start #### here, just didn't know the rule because the same thing went down with Lewis last week.
I'm not scrapping with you on it. They test them with the protocols so that they don't lie. If they pass it, they get to come back in. Lewis should not have been allowed back on the sidelines since he had failed the protocol. There was an article on PFT yesterday about him and Baktiari both violating the concussion rules. The team is responsible for it. But he was clearly not allowed back in because he failed.

How can anyone suggest that was a bad call? You may not like the rule but you can't hit a defenseless WR in the head and that's what the defender did. Unfortunately for the Saints, he was going to drop the pass without the hit.

Wilson made a perfect throw on that.
It might be a few more years before the league fully adjusts to playing defense without the big hit that we all have loved watching over the years. It has to be in the makeup of defensive players at the developmental age. Imagine how hard it must be for these guys who have done it for so many years and are now told to play softer and change their style. Its akin to an old author switching from a typewriter to a PC.

It looked like the guy came up to hit Harvin in the chest and Harvin bent over preparing for the hit. The only other option was to aim for the guys knees and then you have a Gronk type of hit. In Harvin's case his knee would most likely turn to mush. I just don't know how you can hit any other way at that speed not knowing what the receiver is going to do at the last second. I just don't. The guy went in shoulder first and chest high. Didn't launch upwards just drove straight through. I just don't see how else you can hit the guy on that play.
I watched the highlight and Bush doesn't lower his head before the hit, Harvin falls right into it. Bush also hit him shoulder to shoulder and not in the head.

Maybe, but that raging hard-on you have for being a nimrod in every thread you post in, can never be helped.
