New Orleans Saints Vs falcons (TNF Rivalry Game) (1 Viewer)

Is there a bigger tell in the NFL than NO bringing Ingram in? It must be like 80% run.
It's 76 runs and 24 receptions on 100 touches so far this year so pretty good guess.
That's not what he's saying.
He's not saying it's going to be a run 8/10 times they have Ingram in? If not, what is he saying then?
I am, but his point is that other players could be catching passes, not just Ingram. So that might not be the totals for my point. I was however being facetious with my 80% of course. Just pointing out that whatever it is, it's got to be high.

Three runs by three different backs? JFC.
It's so ridiculous. How can anyone on offense get in any sort of rhythm with constantly rotating so many players (both RB's and WR's)?
LOL. What you really mean is "jfc, how can I get fantasy points in a time share". It's effective in real life
It was three an out. That is not effective.
You guys act like no other team in the league ever has three and outs. It is effective because it reduces predictability and wears out a defense and does about eight other things that don't help your fantasy team...but that's really what's important to you guys.

Yahoo just assigned the fumble to Ryan. Stupid, it never got to him.
Who else to charge it to though? Technically, the center never possesses the ball either. It's like charging the QB for an interception when it hits the WR chest high between the numbers and pops up in the air for a pick.
But at least the QB touched and threw it. It technically was intercepted before completion.
Again, the bolded. The point being that that QBs get charged with a lot of turnovers that aren't remotely their fault. For fantasy purposes, they also get a lot of points for things they don't do...like when a receiver breaks a sure tackle and gets an extra 20 yards.
I know. Just explain the difference.

Seems like strange decisions by Ryan.

On the second-to-last play, shouldn't he be looking for someone on the sideline and just throw it away if there is no one within 3 seconds.

Then what the hell is the point of trying to run forward on the last play? Move laterally to at least get a pass up.

Yeah man. Need to substitute in the QBs as well. He's got to be tired as well. Wait, they don't do that. They keep the best QB in at all times because he's superman and doesn't wear down. Anything by committee is flat out stupid.

What reduces predictability is the same guys in, your best guys, most of the plays and backups come in simply for a breather that for decades was the way to go.

Not everyone can really appreciate a true slugfest w/ a score of like 9-3..

Its kinda why they mix things up to create a (big) play

I dunno good question lod01

Ryan is rattled, and a bit reactive in his play.. Not really very "Icy"

Just stop being ridiculous. Everyone knows qbs aren't swapped out but rb,wr,TE are. You've watched football before.

Let's just cut to the chase. Tell us who you started tonight and I'll root for that guy to touch the ball every play, just so we can be friends again.

It's silly. The Saints have historically been their most effective when guys like sproles had a role but now we can't run anyone but one guy and give the Saints a chance to get a groove going with their new back. We have to run Ingram and only Ingram? The same guy 90% of the people crucified all the time before this year. But now that Thomas is gone and Ingram was pretty much the only guy around, we want it to be him all the time. OK. Convince me this has to do with real concern about the Saints being their best or has anything to do with anything beyond the fact that there are Ingram and Robinson owners out there that don't want a share (or wr owners out there that just want them to throw the ball every play).

I always thought that Ryan was pretty smart, not the most talented but he's been pretty bad all year. Team is lucky to be undefeated with him playing the way he did versus Philly and Was.

Anyone else feel like the Saints are lucky to be in this game, let alone ahead?

Falcons haven't gotten pressure on any of the QBs they've played this year - NO would be smart to just put Brees in the shotgun for the rest of the game.

Some of these NO play fakes are just plan ridiculous. I mean Brees is "faking" to a RB he is like 3 full yards away from. WTF?

So sick can't even get a td from brees at home vs a bad defense. I think it's time to move in from him. And the suck thing is he didn't look bad at all.

I've never understood why teams don't work on this more. When UGA finally fires Richt someone should hire him just for that. They've been about the best at that for years.

I think Simms just talks without any idea of where he's heading with his words.
I just wish he could say "him"... he turns Mexican every time... "Brees throws the pass to HEEM."... then sometimes he gets really excited and goes full-on French-Canadian and starts saying stuff like "And then he ran right passed-eem!!!11"... He's my least favorite announcer ever. Also screw the Giants.
