I know, but I'm a bit surprised they called it with the game on the line like that.I bet many there are many officials who wouldn't have.
That was impossible not to call....a blatant forearm to the head.

Eric Barton...meet Bobby Engram. Bobby.....this is Eric
In all fairness to Engram that was not an easy catch. Should he have caught it? Probably. But you also have to remember that #1 the Seattle O-line didn't do its job on that last play. #2 Hasselbeck might have had a chance to run it in. Barton, however, made a HUGE mental mistake.
Well you could count the biggest drop against D-Jax in that game. Bobbled it into a interception.

I agree. Engram is usually known as a guy with phenomenal hands. I've always been a big fan. He usually makes that catch. It'll be a shame if he gets labeled a goat.

In today's world, right or wrong, nhe's already labeled.

did anyone else think LT had the first down on that screen pass, i coulda sworn he was past the line
It was a terrible spot. I think he had it, or was at least a couple of inches short.

Not sure why you don't try on 3rd down in this situation. Anything can happen and at least if it's 3rd down and something gets botched you get another shot.
