NFL is full steam ahead on quantity over quality. Would it shock you to continue to see the product a bit more watered down and decline in quality?

I’m shocked how bad the SNF game looked in hindsight. Those two teams had solid offenses and looked like a punt fest

Super Bowl at Wembley is 100% the first place they'd be eyeing.

Is there anywhere in the US where they could host a Super Bowl in the third best stadium in one half of said city and it would be deemed acceptable?

Capacity is likely a big consideration. Wembley is listed at about 25,000 higher for american football than Spurs stadium. I know they played a few games at Twickenham in years past but the capacity there is also at least 10k fewer than Wembley.

The players are going to love that 11:30pm local time kickoff
Yea that's prolly not gonna fly but an 8:30pm local UK time would be 12:30pm on the west coast, so that does seem doable from an audience standpoint. It will feel a bit weird with the time change on their bodies, but if the SB still is played 2 weeks after Conf Championships the teams could fly out and get acclimated just after and have at least 10 days to prepare.

LOL
You're assuming the NFL cares about the fans. They care about one thing and one thing only: money.
The networks pay a boatload of money to show the games. I don't think they'll be thrilled should the league move the biggest game of the year out of prime time. Not just for the ability to charge millions per minute for ads, but also the opportunity to showcase new programming immediately afterword.

Very true!

It seems NFL is gaining more and more popularity outside US as we see more NFL games being playing in UK and with NFL collaboration with other sporting events like Formula 1 that has a worldwide fanbase. This is an article I was reading earlier about the collaboration between NFL and F1 that seems to be increasing all the time and I think this is a great approach to increase the NFL fanbase in all over the world.

Unless they bring back the Concorde I bet players hate the long distance travel. That will always be an issue IMO.

Players pretty much hate the coast-to-coast travel now, right? I believe the scheduler(s) try to keep those to a minimum, no? So, the issue will not go away even if the NFL had zero international games.

Hope is on the horizon though. Colorado based BOOM SUPERSONIC is developing a new supersonic jet called the OVERTURE which industry folks feel will enter passenger service by 2030.

It's getting to the point where I'd be fine if they played all of the games overseas and broadcast them on a streaming service I dont subscribe to.

I'll go to some of the regular season Premier League games that are played in the U.S.

If they're going to do this, they should make every team in the NFL play one regular season game abroad. That way no one loses a home game.

Everyone plays 8 home, 8 away, and 1 international.

So my wife is a huge Steelers fan, and her best friend from Pittsburgh just texted her and wants to go to the Steeler game in Ireland in 2025.

We are seriously considering it. I wonder how much tickets on the secondary market will be since the international games always sell out in minutes.
