**NFL Saturday Doubleheader - Texans 9-5 at Chiefs 13-1**(-3.5, 42) 1:00 (2 Viewers)

I think Vegas is dead on here. I'm expecting a pretty slow game, with a lot of FGs. I think Mahomes scared at first, but a full week of practices tells me he's basically fine. I think he'll be able to pick apart the Texans secondary enough to lead a bunch of scoring drives, even if he's not the best fantasy option. I think KC slows Mixon quite a bit, and think its Nico Collins who will provide most of the offense for the Texans.

I would have picked the Texans to win, something like 24-17 if Wentz was starting. So to me, Mahomes is worth 10 points over Wentz, who I view as a top backup.

We finally get to see Hopkins and Hollywood together a couple years late. Hopkins was suspended the 1st 6 games during Hollywood's 1st year in Arizona, then Brown got hurt in the last game before Hopkins came back, then by the time Brown came back, Kyler tore his ACL, they played 1 game together, and then Hopkins got hurt, then Hopkins signed with the Titans in the offseason.
 
I don’t think the Chiefs are nearly as good as their record and yet this is their time of year and seem to be getting healthy (Mahomes ankle aside)

Meanwhile the Texans have been struggling to find their offensive identity once teams started slowing down Mixon. Feels like Stroud is having a bit of a sophomore slump

As long as KC doesn’t turn it over, I think they’re content to take what the D gives them and gradually pull away for a 24-13 win

Noah Gay and Worthy have been getting a ton of targets lately, backing them with a little $
 
Starting Mahomes over Cooper Rush and yes it was a tough call
Starting Mahomes over Tua
Starting either Love or Daniels over Mahomes

Starting Kelce over Taylor in a very tough call in 1.5 TE PPR

Worthy in some lineups out of others

Need Mahomes to have a solid game man 2 TD's is that too much to ask for. I traded away Burrow for you dude in a dynasty league and you making me look like a fool.
 
I don't care about either team, so it all boils down to FF. I need Mixon to score and Fairbairn to miss.
 
Not much makes an offense look out of synch faster than a struggling interior O Line

Texans could be in trouble with backups at both Guards
 
Chiefs DST and Pacheco might be the only DFS options that would interest me in this one.

edit, swap fantasy for DFS

The Texans are 9-5? They're not going anywhere except hosting a Wildcard team opening round of the Playoffs, with Mahomes playing today feels like another Chiefs win
 
He blocked the guy legally so well, the ref thought he must have held him

Smith is a monster, terrible flag
 
I actually thought they might call a flag for roughing the QB on the 15-yd TD run by Mahomes, he got banged around 2-3x as he was falling into the end zone
I'm glad they didn't but I was prepared to see it
 
The Chiefs play outstanding defense and are excellent at converting on 3rd and 4th down. It doesn’t matter how explosive their offense is; if they do those things, they will win a lot of games and be one of the biggest threats to win it all.

Well, this is Mahomes we are talking about here. He seems to have a separate set of rules sometimes.
 
I think Joe Thuney at LT should maybe just be the plan going forward. He's clearly capable of it, and G is easier to fill than T.

ETA: Then again, the LG completely wiffing on the LB blitz isn't great.
 
Collins vs Williams should never happen if you are KC's defense. Like, there is no reason to not have either McDuffie or double coverage on Collins. They have nobody else who has shown they can step up this year.
 
@ChiefD I really feel for you and all Chiefs fans today. KC has zero chance, they’ve been overrated all year and the Texans are massively underappreciated. Gotta be tough to be a Chiefs fan year after year. Kudos to you for hanging in there.

Maybe. I mean, Brady probably still has him from 2014-now, Brady has 4 rings (5 Conference titles) and an NFL MVP, and that's across 2 different teams, which is extra impressive to me.
