Pens fans thought jack Johnson was bad. They are going to lose their minds over Mike Matheson. Wow, he is awful.

mildly surprised Sullivan didn't at least try pulling goalie. I guess 3 goals is "warm up the bus" time but in a shortened season, surprised you don't at least try in Game 1.

 
Sorry I’m late, still stunned over the Flyers getting 2 PPGs. Nice to see Nolan Patrick out there, hope the kid can get through some games with no issues.

i usually stream nhl.tv. I got 2 emails saying that my account would be auto renewed yesterday. 

Today i get message that my account is not active. I call customer support and gave up after 20+ minutes on hold. I send email instead that probably won't get read until tomorrow.  

I checked my credit card and no charges showing. I think they tried charging card using old CVV.  Theit web interface is so bad that I have zero idea what payment info they used.

They make it so difficult to see every game.

SportsnetNow in Canada was awful too. I pay for it to try to be legit but I ended up watching an illegal stream anyway because it wouldn't play for the first two periods.

Very excited the Wild will be hitting the ice. Then I remembered, they are in the West and all of my excitement faded. I hate the 9pm start.

Same. Think I had an old card in there, but never got an email notification that the auto-renew payment didn't go through. Tried to subscribe using a current card last night, and after hitting the button twice and nothing happening, just gave up. Will look at it again later today. Very annoying.

No response to my email. I called this morning but they don't open until NOON. I called this afternoin and gave up after 25 minutes on hold.  

I ripped them on Twitter. They responded with a DM for info....which I responded to...and no response after almost 3 hours.

 
@PaulStewart22: Once again, a case of the poor coaching NHL officials receive resulted in a perfectly good goal being disallowed because the official was in far-from-ideal position to see the puck. Coach them to get to the net, not be a potted plant in the corner.

Yeah that part sucks a little. Looking forward to finally seeing Kaprisov. I think we could be a dangerous team. 

 
So it looks like the Bolts - Stars will have their next 2 games postponed. Seems like most teams have a game every other day. Is the assumption these cancelled games won’t be made up and they go by point percentage at the end of the season? Looking at the schedule there are practically no breaks.

i've stated my displeasure with Quinn before, but i have to say, this season should be make or break for him.  he was hired in a rebuilding time, to assist the development of kids, but i don't think he is or was ready for top end talent.  every game this team has a too many men penalty and his random benchings and short bench continually hamper this team.  yesterday, he blames the only sandpaper type player, lemieux, for the too many men and benches him the entire first period.  he has miller with trouba, but limits miller's time.  if that's the case, just play smith.  pairing jack the turnstile with deangelo reeks of problems.  buchnevich and kaapo should be getting better, not stagnating.  his combos are odd at times and the team seems unprepared on numerous occasions.  this is almost a 2.5 line team.
