No. 2 and 3 fantasy picks (1 Viewer)

Many fantasy owners who had top picks in their drafts are going to lose their Week One battles. (Like me.) When you combine the slow start from SJ and LJ with the long serpentine wait for your next two picks, it was probably not a terrific week for you. I probably would have won if I hadn't faced the Minnesota D (I HATE that), but, still, it's a disappointing way to start the year having your stud RB lay an egg right off the bat.

Fortunately, I'm sure both will rebound with huge production next week.

:hophead:

EDITED TO OMIT LT IN THIS SOB-FEST.

I have LJ and will win. (Have MN D, Steve Smith, etc.). AP and Roth on my bench. Both my starting RB's did squat (LJ and MJD). Won't win if that continues this year.

The big 3 are having a rough day no question about it. It's times like that you hope you drafted a good enough team to pick up the slack for them.

The most important thing is not to panic. You don't ignore what happened but you don't overreact either.

This is a funny game, this fantasy football. I have LJ and SJ in a keeper league and I am going to win this week, since I also have Big Ben starting for me to make up the slack. If your team revolves around 1 or 2 players, then you are destined for trouble anyway.

In any league that has the #1 drafting team vs #2, one of LT or SJ has to win.

I'll be shocked if Big Ben picks up the slack like that very often. Very odd stat line.

I have LJ and I am on my way to a win. Maybe you are a poor drafter. :goodposting:

Oh, for crying out loud. Yes, there will be exceptions. :goodposting:

Absolutely true, however it is anomolies like that that keep us all :wall: sometimes and telling people to :jawdrop: at other times.

I'll be 0-1 in both my leagues, but that's more because of the failures of Lee Evans, Reggie Bush, Jones-Drew, Chris Cooley and Nate Keading than it is on LT or S-Jax.

Ain't it great? :)

If you didn't expect a slow start from LJ, you weren't paying attention.

It will probably continue the next few weeks. Then he will explode in the 2nd half.

Not on that team , they are so bad it s not even funny , they almost got blanked bu Houston not The Bears ( Houston ) .They need to get Letwich desperatly , they have zero NFL caliber QB on their team.

Im up by about 20 points, but I only have Jacobs and Willis left. He has Fitz, Boldin, Rudi, and Stover left. Unless one of Jacobs or Willis has a big game, I'm not thinking I have much of a chance since his K will likely erase half that lead himself.

ADP on my bench is gonna kill me, Im thinking McNabb over Romo will turn out to be unwise too..

But the way things are going, since most thought Jacobs would struggle this week, I have a new gut that he gets 100 and a TD. Anyone else buying?

I think their WR's are holding back that O more than Huard. They're not very talented, can't run routes, and are inexperienced and were dropping balls every series from what I saw. Also, Houston, especially their D is improving in my eyes. They'll probably be middle of the road this year.Plus, LJ only had 10 carries because of the holdout. If they wanna win, I think they know LJ needs it at least 15 times next week and 20 by the following week. He's their only chance to win.All things considered, he still had 17 touches when he was supposed to be limited. Red Zone opps seems like it could be the big question.
