the kid had over 700 carries for over 4000 yards. I know he's tiny, but I'd think that kind of production and, dare I say, durability suggests the kid should get a longer look.

He was SEVERELY underweight when Lammey, Waldman & I saw him in Mobile. Then TAH-DOW he gained 20 lbs before the Combine - which struck me as odd, barring a super soldier serum (not a steroid joke, a Cpt America joke). You can put ON that weight but it's tough to keep up. And his frame looked maxed out at the Senior Bowl. No idea where he put it anyway. I bet you he dropped that weight, or some of it, again and that hurt him.

But (assuming the reports are accurate) him walking away from one of the few NFL opportunities he's likely to get is a bigger problem for me.
