The story in the lazy thread about the dude who drove three houses down to get his mail prompted this thread.
My grandfather's brother (great uncle?) was a great guy. Fire chief, Mayor, Councilman at various times in his life of the small town where he lived. He was still involved with the City Council into his late 80s when his health started failing. He needed one of those oxygen tanks on wheels that he pulled behind him (maybe 20 years ago - perhaps better technology exists now). His first wife had passed many years before and he remarried a woman 25 years younger than him. Anyway, she got him one of those handicapped stickers and he would never use it. He parked in a regular spot every time and said he was leaving the handicapped spots for the people who reall needed it.
RIP Aggy!
