I’m at a bar and meet a woman; white, late 30s, maybe early 40s looks like she just got off from working at a restaurant – would bang but wouldn’t brag about it. There are two other women at the bar and me. It’s about 7:00pm, I’m wearing a fitted white dress shirt I ordered from MTailor, Tommy John underwear, dress pants and a silver John Varatos sports jacket hanging on the chair I’m in.
The woman are talking about raising teenage boys; the woman I described goes into detail saying the boy’s father has never been around so she has always done “both roles”. The other women sympathize with her and agree that it must be hard.
Anyway, the woman I described says her 16 year-old (soon to be 17) talked to her about being sexually active with his girlfriend. She described the conversation (in uncomfortable detail) about her asking if he used condoms. Her son said he didn’t use condoms because he couldn’t put them on. So her, “being a good mom and having to do both roles since his father isn’t around”, went to her room and got some condom – and loudly proclaims she’s “single so of course I have condoms”.
She explained, exactly, how she helped him learn to put a condom on his ####. “I told him drop his pants and we’ll practice putting them on right now; now he knows how to use condoms.”
The other two women were just blindly agreeing with her and applauding her efforts, you know, since “the father wasn’t around”.
I was speechless.
