Offensive Line Article (1 Viewer)

Very nice breakdown.

I would take issue with a couple of things with the Bills, but they have very little reason for outsiders to be optimistic.

The two major changes I would make if I had written it would be that 1) Duke Preston would be a listed as a key backup and 2) Mike Williams would DEFINITELY not be someone that "gave them hope."

Preston has looked pretty good so far from all reports and is becoming pretty versatile. He should add decent depth this season.

And Mike Williams was just plain awful. Injured all the time (more like unwilling to play with a little pain), overweight, non-aggressive, just a total bust in all respects. He offered absolutely zero hope to the Bills. Getting rid of him was probably their best offseason move.

But a very nice read and lots of good info in the article. Yet another great reason to subscribe to FBG.

I thought Mike Williams ate Duke Preston no?

I agree with GD and would add that the Bills cutting of Williams was indeed addition by subtraction. He was a cancer on the team, unwilling to try, incapable of learning. Additionally he was the highest paid lineman which caused much animosity on the line.

The line will be in better condition this year with the departure of "jelly" Rolle, the former strength and conditioning coach, this is probably the most important change in the O-line.

Additionally, the signing of Robert Royal is a huge improvement to the O-line.

Although the typical fan sees little positive change in the Bills line, these none roster changes should not be overlooked.

Oh yea, I predict Peters will be moved to the left tackle this season and become on of the best!!
