Detroit Weather

Today: Occasional showers. Temperature rising to near 49 by 11am, then falling to around 44 during the remainder of the day. Breezy, with a south southeast wind 8 to 11 mph becoming west northwest between 20 and 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Tonight: Scattered rain and snow showers before midnight, then a chance of flurries. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 21 to 24 mph decreasing to between 13 and 16 mph. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Sheesh is this Tigers-Cardinals or Wolverines-Buckeyes.

I'm gonna freeze my ### off!

Weather update:

Still calling for rain tonight but the chances are 40 percent. I'd say that's about the chance they play tonight.

Must win for the Tigers...if Kenny can't beat friggin Jeff Weaver, this series is over. Nevertheless, if there is anything you can count on, it's Jeff Weaver choking tonight...

Not sure about Dream Weaver, but Rogers has been solid as a stopper since the weather turned cooler.
I just do not want this game to start and then stop and then start again. Tigers need a big performance tonight and Rogers is the guy to do it.

What the hell? Eminem's music video this week and Jay-Z during MNF last week. Is there a clause in affirmative action that includes rap culture beginning in October 2006??

This guy in the middle is doing a great job with pregame work right now bringing to light Dave Duncan's achievements as St. Louie's pitching coach.

Who is he? I missed the opening.
I don't know but his shaggy hair reminded me of Eric Byrnes. Maybe it was Eric Byrnes? I think Jeannie Zalaskow (sp) made a comment about how well he was doing, too.

This Mellencamp performance is going to be horrible. TIMESTAMP
This is a horrible song that I've listened to all day as it came on during some GM or other car commercial every commercial break during the games.I mean, how many songs have a "coast-to-coast/from [insert American landmark here] from [insert American landmark here]" theme? :X :X :X

It's Byrnes and he has been a great find for FOX.

And there it goes again. And it will go again...and again...and...From Mellencamp's website: "This partnership with Chevy- an American company that is creating jobs and supporting our communities- makes perfect sense for a song that is all about standing up for the working people who are the backbone of our country."A sad sad state of affairs for Mr. Mellencamp.

Going into this, I felt Weaver would pitch a great game against his former team. But that homer could make him shaky.

Do you mean just like everyone said Weaver would choke in game 2 of the NLDS? And game 1 of the NLCS? And game 5 of the NLCS?
Statistical outliers, in other words, a god-damn fluke and every Cardinal fan knows it... :D

Rogers is pitching much better since he cleaned that #### off his hand.
