***OFFICIAL 2009 NFL DRAFT*** (2 Viewers)

I'm surprised at all the hate for the Moreno pick. The Broncos took by far the best player available at that spot. The fact that they have 47 scrub RBs on their roster doesn't make it a bad pick.

Correct pick for the Saints

Houston now has their pick of LBS. Id go Maulauga if I were them

:bag:This pick made no sense either from a need or BPA standpoint. Horrible.

And now Moreno becomes the undisputed #1 pick in rookie drafts.
I disagree. There are about 5 teams that Beanie could end up playing for that would place him higher than Moreno IMO.
For some reason I don't like Knowshown in Denver. Shanny is gone guys. Josh Mcdaniels is the head coach. Remember the Pats rbs last couple seasons. :lmao:
:bag: The days of Denver and the 1000 rusher is pretty much gone....The only up-side to this is that we won't have to worry about drafting a Denver RB for fantasy next year.

:bag: PPR hands down I'd take Crabtree. I'm stoked that he didn't land in Jacksonville or Oakland personally. I'd likely take Beanie over Moreno in Denver. I think Arrington's got a solid role there as the 3D back for the future as the Kevin Faulk part. Moreno to Denver doesn't excite me in the least. I don't think he'll get used as a 3D back and will get pulled at goalline.I'm just still shocked they'd waste a pick on offense with the current state on defense.

Not that I see.... Wells is too injury prone and a malconent.I see him having a few huge games.... maybe a couple huge seasons combined with a few clunkers as well.. but I dont think he substains it long term.

I have been jumping between Sirius and 104 in Denver and the fans were stunned when the pick was made. Of course Schlereth hated the pick. This pick will give them a legit #1 back helping Orton and the passing game. Not everybody loved Arakpo and he, like Raji, with their skill sets, may be better in a 4-3 defense.

Didn't think he's the best player available there. That defense was the worst in the league last year. GL to having Kyle Orton as a gun slinger. The beginning of the McDaniels era to present may be the worst X month span in NFL history by a new coach.

McDaniels wasnt ready. After his first 4 months on the job, I think that is pretty obvious.

Amazing that Michael Oher is still on the board. Someone is going to make out like a bandit picking him.

I think AJ's really hoping someone wants to trade into this spot.

Real quickly on the Moreno pick- I think Moreno is a solid player, just a little baffled Denver would be the one making the pick.

A few things:

The raiders reached real bad. It doesn't matter how sold Davis is on Hayward-Bey; it is a waste of value. Bey wasn't going to for at least another 10-15+ picks. They could have even used the seven pick and trade back into the first to get Bey.

The Jets-Browns trade is a completely equal trade. Each team got what it wanted. The Jets basically gave up a second rounder and some Mangini holdovers for their possible franchise QB. The Browns saved some money, got an extra pick, and added depth to two positions. Elam came out of nowhere last year and Ratliff could even start this year. They can now trade Quinn. Rob Ryan is trying to get lightning in a bottle again with Sanchez to reproduce Flacco. The browns with the 17th pick will be used on a LB no doubt.

I can't beleive Tyson Jackson went at three. Crazy.
