a center?
Are all of those picks this year? He's been saying all along that #15 isn't going to get you a much better pick than #40 in this class. Guess he wasn't bull####ting.
seems to be an indictment on what NFL scouts think of Wells....not many had him going lower than the 2nd RB off the board.Addai and Brown is a weird combo - and Beanie Wells continues to slide, right into the Pats/Cards/Steelers' laps
Wow. When you lay it out like this, it really is pretty awful. This is why the Bills are a joke. Every. #######. Year.We just traded Jason Peters for ERIC ####### WOOD
He has to be better than Ed Wood.We just traded Jason Peters for ERIC ####### WOOD
What a change of fate from a few years back (strictly fantasy)... Addai from zero to hero to back to almost back to zero. Maroney from a hot stock to penny to pink sheet. Lendale from a loser to a steady RB2-3. Williams from hero to zero to back to hero. Think of all us dynasty owners. What da!Addai dynasty owners every cringe!
hearing that he is a beast blocking TE changed my mind immediately. they effectively added two positions with that pick - OL and TE. I like it now that it's sunk in.and obviously they knew more than us...Laurinitis, Delmas, Maualuga all still available with 5 picks to go till 33I actually like the Pettigrew pick.
The Lions need to be looking for best player available regardless of position. The idea that they can be even remotely competitive in 2009 or 2010 is laughable. I don't care what the Dolphins did last year, Detroit is at a totally different level of sucking.
Oher has some question marks, but what's not to like about Pettigrew? He's the best player at his position, maybe the best overall on the board, and a force blocking and receiving.

LOL @ the Buffalo football BillsThis is why the Bills are a joke. Every. #######. Year.We just traded Jason Peters for ERIC ####### WOOD
Don't fool yourself - a real good blocking TE does not replace an offensive tackle. He supplements a good line, he doesn't replace one.hearing that he is a beast blocking TE changed my mind immediately. they effectively added two positions with that pick - OL and TE. yes, #41, #73 and #83Are all of those picks this year? He's been saying all along that #15 isn't going to get you a much better pick than #40 in this class. Guess he wasn't bull####ting.
i think this is only the second year that it's been 10 minutes per pick (previously was 15)...still, I LOVE the pace this yearUnder 4 hours for the 1st roundWonder what the record is for 32 1st round picks
Yea but when the Lions draft Carson Butler as the backup TE at 33 -- then they will REALLY be supplementing.Don't fool yourself - a real good blocking TE does not replace an offensive tackle. Thurman Merman as starting OG?Eric Wood looks like the kid from Bad SantaSo true.
I'm happy with this pick. Percy will get the message real quick in Minny, if he stays on grass, he will get punched in the face like Williamson did. (obviously for different reasons)Harvin is about as close to Williamson as Chad Johnson is to Ashley Lelie. This was a great value pick. Vikes fans will be very happy.I hate the Vikes. Another Troy Williamson project, but this time with problems. I cant believe it...
The packers gave up a 2nd, two 3rds, naming rights to Lambeau Field and Brett Favre's sweat-stained game jersey. What were the details of the Packer/Patriot trade?
#41, #73 and #83 for #23What were the details of the Packer/Patriot trade?
No chance the Steelers take another RB in the first.seems to be an indictment on what NFL scouts think of Wells....not many had him going lower than the 2nd RB off the board.Addai and Brown is a weird combo - and Beanie Wells continues to slide, right into the Pats/Cards/Steelers' laps
Pettigrew was definitely the #1 TE in this draft and a first round talent. Was he the BPA at #20? Maybe not but it appears the Lions will still have Britton or Beatty drop to them at 2.1. Everette Brown and Rey Mag are still on the board as well. The Lions are looking good here.hearing that he is a beast blocking TE changed my mind immediately. they effectively added two positions with that pick - OL and TE. Bengals could take Caldwell later.Steelers are gonna up getting UngerI'm think the Bengals will end up with the Cincy kid.-QG
Yep, that completely ruined Randy Moss's career. Poor guy's doomed.LOL all the way past 20 teamsLOL. All the way down to the first round.Apparently they did and that is why he slipped down and down and down.GOOD LORD HAVE THE NFL SCOUTS SEEN THIS?????????They just showed Oher getting beaten at the college level and the QB taking hits. Meh, you can have him BMore.
#41, both 3rd.Pack get NE's 5th in return. What were the details of the Packer/Patriot trade?
2nd and two 3rd rounders, I think they got a fifth back? What were the details of the Packer/Patriot trade?
Patriots got 44th, GB's two 3rds, and someone said a 5th but I didn't see that myself. What were the details of the Packer/Patriot trade?
