***OFFICIAL 2009 NFL DRAFT*** (1 Viewer)

:goodposting: @ Percy Harvin. Now that's a bad pick!`
 ADP in the backfield, Berrian running deep, and Harvin wreaking havoc underneath = $$$
I hope your right. However I think Oher or Jerry would have been a better pick. 22 (22) Vikings Harvin, Percy WR 5'11" 192 Florida

Pick Analysis: The Vikings ignore the potential character risks and select the immensely talented Harvin with their first-round pick. The do-it-all playmaker makes life easier for quarterbacks Sage Rosenfels and Tarvaris Jackson with his ability to score from anywhere on the field. With Adrian Peterson and Bernard Berrian receiving the bulk of opponents' attention, Harvin could emerge a surprise star in his rookie season.

23 (23) Ravens (From Patriots) Oher, Michael OT 6'5" 309 Mississippi

24 (24) Falcons Jerry, Peria DT 6'2" 299 Mississippi

I think either of the above players would have been better picks for the Vikings long term.

I don't trust Childress to use Harvin creativly enough for Harvin to make as much of an impact as I think these 2 linemen will for their respective teams.

Again I hope I am wrong and Harvin is talented enough to overcome all the question marks.

Harvin at wildcat with Jackson out wide? Tavaris Jackson was basically running a wildcat all last year since he cant throw.
No problem. Harvin can't play WR. They'll do fine on the bench.
My point exactly another project, may be fast and explosive but what good is that if he cant play WR.
He caught more passes than Darius Heyward Bey did.
Yeah DHB was ridiculous... I just thought Oher being on the board still would have made the decision a lot harder, but the Vikes were all over Harvin.Green Bay trades back into the 1st? I already am worried with them getting Raji. Now, Clay Matthews... they certainly needed the D help.

Awesome. Matthews was a guy I wouldn't have minded the Pack trading down from #9 to get around the late teens early 20s. Now they gone and taken Raji at #9 and landed a heck of an 3-4 OLB.

I certainly salute the military, but isn't this a little bit weird placement?

Between rounds seems more appropriate

Donald Brown to go here?

Let's see if they show the International Bowl highlights when he tramples UB. :goodposting:

Addai and Brown is a weird combo - and Beanie Wells continues to slide, right into the Pats/Cards/Steelers' laps

Love seeing GB overpaying with one 2nd and 2 3rd rounders for Clay Matthews .... the more this draft goes on, it gets more and more obvious how the Bears made out like bandits on the Cutler trade. Look at this Matthews trade; look at the trade for Mark Sanchez.
