I don't understand this pick at all. At all. Are the Lions really drafting a KR in the third round? The first 5 picks and NO lineman on either side of the ball.![]()

Mayock on NFLN was crushing this guy for being slow-footed and having to hold a lot.Draftguys has Urbik ranked as the best guard. I guess this is a pretty darn good pick for the 3rd round?

In 1-on-1 drills. He said it was a completely different story in games.Mayock on NFLN was crushing this guy for being slow-footed and having to hold a lot.Draftguys has Urbik ranked as the best guard. I guess this is a pretty darn good pick for the 3rd round?![]()

So who is Mike Wallace? (Not the 60 minutes guy)Oh good, so as long as the Steelers give him help on every play, he'll be fine.In 1-on-1 drills. Yes, he referred to blocking in a phone booth, in which case he'd be fine. Who on the Steelers will be responsible for lugging the phone booth around? That's not what he said.Oh good, so as long as the Steelers give him help on every play, he'll be fine.In 1-on-1 drills. He's yapping just to yap.You do understand the difference between "working in space" like a LT and working as an "interior linemen"?In drills you work by yourself in space. In game applications guards can be guards, and not have to pretend to be tackles. Its a little thing we call "Football".Oh good, so as long as the Steelers give him help on every play, he'll be fine.In 1-on-1 drills. I shouldn't be surprised that you have your OL alibis down after watching your OL play last year. I won't try to out piss a racehorse any more. You do understand the difference between "working in space" like a LT and working as an "interior linemen"?In drills you work by yourself in space. He should be a good possession receiver opposite of Ginn and great size for the red zone. What do those who know more than I do (pretty much all of you) know about Patrick Turner?
He was expected to be another Dwayne Jarrett or Mike Williams for USC, but was a slow developer as a WR and he dropped a lot of passes. He improved a lot his senior year. He's large and atheletic, but as with those other two guys the questions about him will be his quickness and ability to gain separation, and how disciplined his route running will be.My impression was that he was expected to drop into the ~5th round or so.What do those who know more than I do (pretty much all of you) know about Patrick Turner?
Coming in to college, he was not only the #1 WR, but the #1 player in the entire nation. But he didn't work hard his first couple years at USC; he sucked at route running, didn't pay attention to catching balls. In his junior year he got better, and his senior year he shined.I see him as similar in the NFL to that big receiver from the Chargers- can't think of his name at the moment. What do those who know more than I do (pretty much all of you) know about Patrick Turner?
Get another 2nd rounder for next year... Can't really complain with what the Pats are doing in this draft. I would like to see them get a linebacker but I am real happy we got Darius Butler.pats trade pick to titans

Has to be. That's pretty much the extent of his upside. Again, his downside is that of Jarrett or Mike Williams.Vincent Jackson?Coming in to college, he was not only the #1 WR, but the #1 player in the entire nation. You have to think they are looking at their roster and assessing the plausibility of how many rookies can make their squad. Picking up a couple extra 2nd rounders next year is an excellent move.Get another 2nd rounder for next year... Can't really complain with what the Pats are doing in this draft. , move 8 spots down, and then Jared Cook goes before their pick so they trade out AGAIN to the Seahawks, indicating [to me] that they tried to gamble on Cook being there later and now they lost the guy they should've grabbed this round.
wonderful move by PatsTitans must really like that TE. They drafted a TE last year that couldn't crack the Scaife and Alge lineup plus they had that guy(can't think of his name now) that was Alge's backup in Atlanta. They must love Cook to trade up for him despite all their depth.Get another 2nd rounder for next year... Can't really complain with what the Pats are doing in this draft. Yeah, that's the guy, thanks. They have about the same size and build, I think.Vincent Jackson?Coming in to college, he was not only the #1 WR, but the #1 player in the entire nation. Still not a great pick. Pretty much just means the Raiders saved the Bears from making the biggest reach of the day. But there's a bunch of D-Bags running around the Shark Pool that can get bent.(OK, being a little sensitive)Apparently the Bears wanted Mitchell at #49 and traded out when they couldn't get him.Interesting.-QG
With the failed drug test at the Combine wouldn't Tate be considered the classic "Possession" receiver?![]()

I'm feelin' ya, Tony. I don't dislike the players they're picking, but I am still scratching my head over the Lions' apparent infatuation with the Badgers. Levy? Lot of ways I wish they would've gone with that pick. The first 5 picks and NO lineman on either side of the ball.![]()

After a masterful Day 1 of the draft, Eagles start off Day 2 with a major blunder.Several quality TEs left, but I too believe that Cook is something special.Eagles trade with the Giants for an extra 5th, move 8 spots down, and then Jared Cook goes before their pick so they trade out AGAIN to the Seahawks, indicating [to me] that they tried to gamble on Cook being there later and now they lost the guy they should've grabbed this round.

Maybe they sign whoever the Broncos release.Seattle doesn't have a pick until the 6th now, are they really going to roll with Julius Jones/Duckett this season at RB?
Scheffler for a 2010 2nd?So wait, we have no picks now until the 5th round?I guess we're going to be fine with Celek, Schobel and some journeyman plodder at TE.
Since when are the Eagles adept at addressing their needs for offensive skill positions through the draft? You need to be patient here, Jason. Inside of a decade I feel certain that they will have upgraded their TE position. So wait, we have no picks now until the 5th round?I guess we're going to be fine with Celek, Schobel and some journeyman plodder at TE.
