hopefully someone with higher powers than me (most people) has the knowledge to figure out the cut line and compassion to share it with the rest of us. Sadly this will affect my sleep if I do not know....I know, it's sad.
Given the games so far, I'm thinking 115 right now. Tomorrow night could bump it to 120ish.

Dwyer saved my bacon I think. At 113 with Titus young Alshin Jeffrey and leshoure.Dwyer taking over the starting role would be huge for my roster.Rg3 has been my saving grace this year
Jeffrey is OUT! Leshoure will have a tough time against the Bears run defense. Young could have a decent game. I think you are better off than me though. I am at 68 point with Cutler, Marshall, Hester & Forte remaining. I just hope Bennet doesnt score all the TD's. Good luck to all!

I appreciate the educated guess....but I need some firm numbers for a good night's sleep.Sitting at 109.95 with Calvin (-0). I guess if I only got to pick one player to put me over the top, this would be the one to pick. Fingers are crossed.

So 75+ Stafford(-0) and Davis (-6.5) and Marshall (-1.7)

I guess crazier things have happened. A big day from Marshall would probably get me there if we're looking at 120.

Dwyer's 12 was unexpected.

My last tough bye week with Gates/Julio/McCoy all out.

McFadden/Ridley/Fitz picked a terrible week to throw up duds.

If I survive this week I have a good shot of making it to week 10, with little bye impact in weeks 8 and 9.

Sitting a bit better thanks to Suisham. Sitting at 114.3 with Forte (-6.5), Marshall (-6.6), Young (-7.0), Broyles (-1.7), Hanson (-16.0)

What are all the negative #'s in the posts? Please explain. Thank you.

Example: So 75+ Stafford(-0) and Davis (-6.5) and Marshall (-1.7)

That's the number of points needed before that player starts counting. So for example Stafford (-0) means all of Stafford's points will count to his score. Davis (-6.5) means that all the points after 6.5 would count toward his score.

Understood. Thank you.

133.55 with Robbie Gould (-13.00) and Titus Young (-2.40/8.10) left. I think I made it through. Mendy/Redman sitting was a Godsend.

If I make it through I have my Bills D and K off with Torrey and Flacco next week - but Brees should play anyway, so I'm really just down to the WAS defense and I'm a receiver short.

If I get through that...missing Bilal Powell, Amendola, and Hernandez. I'm missing the first to anyway, so I'll be back to counting on Gates and D. Allen for a week at TE/flex.

Week 10? WAS bye, so just the Bills defense.

Week 11 - I'll be missing Harvin, which could sink me if I somehow survive until then.

I think I can make it to week 9, but that'll be the end of the road for me. Pure gut feeling.

Unofficial cut was showing at 85.5 before the SNF game, so feeling a bit relieved that my now low triple digit score plus Calvin Johnson should push me through to next week. An ugly week, but at this stage of the contest, advancing is the only thing that matters.

I'll be cheering for your team. 10 points behind the current cut line, a good game from Stafford puts me over the current cut line and hopefully Marshall will score enough to keep me over the new cut line. It'll be close.

How do you determine the unofficial cut?

At the very top of the OC's live scoring site:Last Update - Cutoff: Monday, October 22nd 2:05am Cutoff at that time: 103.25

Currently at 101.5. Still to play:

Cutler (-0)

Pettigrew(-1.7)

T. Young (-6.5)

R. Gould (-16)

Hoping to get in the 120-130 range, but Cutler could put a crimp in that if he throws up a dud.

Yuck. I was hoping it'd be lower. Guessing the final cut will be 115-120. First time this season I'm catching up going in to Monday night. I really need Cutler and Forte to catch me up tonight. I'm at 93.3 and a 20 point game from Cutler, 10 point game from Hanson or Gould and 15ish from Forte (-6) should put me in the clear.

currently sitting at 106.4 with (Cutler-0) + (C. Johnson-0) + (R. Gould-0)

any kind of game from Cutler or CJ should keep me in the hunt

Here are the results of plugging in Dodds's MNF projections in for each week, and where the actual cut line ended up (I didn't do Dodds's projection in week 5).

Week Dodds Actual2 145.30 139.603 163.15 161.904 154.65 156.755 ------ 128.456 136.90 141.50
The current Week 7 cutline is 103.25. If every player scores exactly what Dodds has them projected to score tonight, the cutline will go up to 121.00.

I am pretty much totally out of the running, with 77 + Stafford (-0) + Titus Young (-1.70) + Robbie Gould (-16). I'm still happy with the way my team turned out, which is all I can really ask for. On a week when I was missing a bunch of really key players due to injury or bye, the few remaining guys all disappeared (My three active RBs, for example, all put up their lowest point totals of the season). Oh well, good luck to all those moving on.

158.95. Forte and Calvin -10.5 :scared: Huge week considering I got 0 from TE and 3 from D.
Nice. I'm not concerned, either; sitting at 137.75 with Cutler (-10.05) and Calvin Johnson (-7.80) left to go. Judging by the worried posts here, that should be plenty to advance.

Only 115 teams left with MJD and I suspect a good chuck of those will be gone this week.

There are 448 teams left with Rashad Jennings and only 10 remaining teams own both.

That MJD injury is going to swing a lot of people in this contest. It is potentially a huge bow to the MJD teams and a big gain for Jennings people.

I think you are overestimating the value of any Jags player.

Maybe, but MJD was pretty valuable last season on a terrible team. He was RB3 in standard scoring last season so I do not think his injury is insignificant. Jennings was only $9 and while I do not expect big numbers out of him if MJD misses time I do expect enough production to be a boost to some remaining teams. He did put up 102 yards, 7 catches and a TD yesterday. I would bet there will be more than a handful of teams that survive this week because of the increased production of Jennings due to the MJD injury this week. I do not think those owners would consider his value this week overestimated.

Man, I'll be cutting it close this week, if I even survive.... 79.3 w/ stafford (-0), Calvin (-0), and scheffler (-0).... C'mon Lions, don't try and be a running team tonight!!!

I need Stafford(-10) to Pettigrew(0) and Young(0) all night or it will be a week 7 exit. A ton of Gould (-5) Fg's also. Sitting at 73 pts I can only go up from here. Come on Stafford show me why I invested in you.

Dammit, should get by easily with 157.5 so far.

I'm pissed because I obviously worried about the week 7 bye way too much and now I'll be screwed in the next few weeks.

I'm similar.I at 90.3 with Stafford (-11.5), Calvin (-0), and Hansen (-16).If one us makes it, we probably both do.

I've been out since week 5, but at least now I can bury any feelings that "one bad week kept me out of the running".

With Cedric Benson and Donald Brown injured, David Wilson a complete ghost, and Jamaal Charles on bye, my sole contribution from the rb corps was an impressing single point from Evan Royster. :lmao:

I am sitting at 100.8, but I have Stafford (-0), Leshoure (-1), Megatron/Titus Young (-6.6), and Hanson (-0).

I have been thinking that I should be fine, because I have so many bases covered. But then I realized that I Shutout tonight by the Da Bears could be the end of me. If just Hanson hits his average (16) or Stafford hits his average (21), I should be fine. I sure hope so, because I love this contest, and while I have not posted, I have read every post of the monster thread.

At 164.9 + Hanson (16.0) and T Young and Megatron (11.3 for WR3 and 11.7 for Flex). I am as happy as a dancing pickle.

I'm all set up to provide relatively real-time updates to the cutline throughout tonight's game. I'll probably post an update once or twice per quarter.
Thank you. I appreciate that in spite of the fact that you are convinced you will be out, you will provide the updates.

I hardly put in anytime selecting me team this year due to some time constraints and am very surprised to still be alive.

First time I've tried over 22 and I went with 26.

121.7 Week 7 with T.Young (0) and best of Pettigew(-1) or K.Davis (-1) tonight.

Roberts has saved my ### on both of J.Jones dud weeks and bye this week.
