Ouch, a fitz td at the end would have given me 139.3, probably good enough to get by, but 133.2 isn't gonna be enough from the sounds of it.

Well I live to fight another day (or week). I really need Jordy and Demarco to get back from injuries though for me to have any shot at this. Scoring 7.6 at RB2 and 8.9 at WR3 ain't gonna cut it down the line.

144.35 Randy Moss & Kendall Hunter both hit the board for me saving me from the Jamaal Charles debacle :banned:

I'll take it, just barely

How am I still alive? I was totally supposed to take a fall this week with Foster on his bye but Titus Young decided now would be a good time to go crazy.

Only have one contributing player on bye each of the next 3 weeks in Hernandez, James Jones and Wright.

Apart from that I'm back to full strength.

I'm starting to get excited about this. I made it to the top 250 my first year, and then spent the last several years wiping out early.

Entry 107658. 22-player roster, three kickers, two defenses. The only players who haven't scored for me are Royster and Steve Smith STL.

I have Aaron Rodgers, Doug Martin, Marshawn Lynch, Julio Jones, Percy Harvin, Antonio Brown, Titus Young and Rob Gronkowski.

I checked various combinations of those eight players, and I'm the only contestant left with Rodgers/Martin/Lynch/Jones/Harvin, Rodgers/Jones/Harvin/Brown/Young, or Jones/Harvin/Brown/Young/Gronkowski.

Jermaine Gresham will count for me in week 9 against Denver, but that's fine, since he's already counted over Gronk twice. Luck @JAC will cover Rodgers' bye, and he's outscored Rodgers three times. My toughest week comes in week 11, with Lynch, Harvin and Wright out. Harvin has counted every week, Lynch all but one, and Wright five out of eight.

My week 11 will look something like Rodgers, Martin, Alex Green, Jones, Brown, Young, Gronk, and Gresham, which hopefully will be enough. If I can get through week 11, I think I'll have a good shot.

183.6 this week. Week 9 I only have Ridley and Legatron on bye.

Looking forward, I wish I had Foster or Rice, instead of McFadden, to go with Peterson and Ridley at RB. However, with all the injuries at RB, this is a minor quibble, and McFadden does have a favorable schedule. I also have Mendenhall if he decides to get healthy again. Wilson continues to be my biggest waste of $9.

I like my WR, but need better performances from Antonio Brown and Torrey Smith, in order to complement Marshall and Decker. Having Gordon, Wright and Blackmon as secondary WR have worked out nicely so far.

Definitely wish I had more firepower at TE, to compete with the smaller roster teams. Rudolph WAS tearing it up, but has fallen off, and I can't get consistent production from Chandler and Olsen. Slightly concerned about week 11, if I make it that far, where I will have Peterson, Rudolph, and Wright on bye.

stubby

I survived week 7 without a QB, that was the week I was sweating the most. I have a couple duds on my roster ie Evan Royster and Doug Baldwin, but I think I might have enough power to stick around for a bit. This is by far the farthest I've made it in this contest.

The overall survival rate is 23.37%. I have 6 players with survival rates below 20%, and 4 of them are RBs (R. Bush [19.15%], Thomas [19.91%], S. Jackson [17.55%], and Forte [15.19%]). The other 2 are Romo (15.88%) and Little (19.25%). I have only 3 players with a survival rate over 30% -- H. Miller (35.31%), J. Jones (40.76%) and Harvin (38.11%).

I'm not sure what any of that means, except my RBs have clearly not been carrying my team.

My team name should be smoke and mirrors. I dont know how I'm still alivehttp://subscribers.footballguys.com/contest/2012/101146.php
Your team is better than mine and I'm still alive too somehow. http://subscribers.footballguys.com/contest/2012/109573.phpI think your annual subscriber contest results should follow your login and you can awards for Best over performance in it. I think I've never made it to week 8. I don't know. It would be nice to see history of this for my previous years. Things don't look that promising for me but they didn't back in week 2. Good luck folks.

Congrats to those moving on. Since Monday night's teams aren't changing I may post the total players from each a little earlier than usual this week.

:pickle:

This entry is still alive.
Sooner Swag140.85, by far my lowest score of the year, and I scrape by. I actually feel fairly safe now, which can't be good.
Like Brees, your WR, and TE if you survive the Hernandez bye week. Your RBs though....ick...=)
Yep. My goal was to get simply serviceable scores out of one RB every week, and make it through to Bush's super soft schedule at year's end. We'll see if it works out.

Squeaked by the last two weeks by making the cut by 1.5 in week 7 and 0.4 in week 8. Feel very lucky and now feel in better shape with both Foster and McCoy off their bye weeks. http://subscribers.footballguys.com/contest/2012/102516.php

Just messing around with some stats for my team and wanted to know some unique guys that I have going forward.

My Guys owned by under 10% of remaining entries

Kellen Davis 3.1%

Jeremy Maclin 4.3%

Philadelphia Defense 4.7%

Joel Dreessen 5.4%

Mario Manningham 5.7%

Kendall Hunter 7.1%

Josh Gordon 7.7%

Mike Nugent 8.5%

Dwayne Allen 8.7%

Jon Baldwin 9.5%

Pierre Garcon 9.6%

Foster/McCoy Combo 1.5%

Gould/Prater/Nugent Combo 0.5%

Eagles/Seahawks Defense Combo 0.9%

Decent list of guys that have been under performing/injuried/Backup Roll. Will need some luck and need guys like Maclin/Garcon/Hunter to step up.

On the other end of it here are the 20%+ guys on my roster

Benson 65.2%

Prater 43.7%

Ryan 37.9%

Blackmon 30.2%

Seahawks Defense 27.7%

Royster 26.5%

Gould 24.6%

Mendenhall 21.6%

T.Smith 20.1%

I think other then Benson this year has seen a lot more variety in rosters and players owned.

Just a few tidbit of impacts:

[*]Sproles affects 345 teams

[*]The Chargers with two defensive TDs have put up 21 pts and affects 89 teams... lucky bastards!

Only 9 teams have both though. So, 336 teams are hurting from that.50 teams have Sproles and Gates.

216 have Sproles and Benson.

4 teams have Sproles, Benson, Gore.

11 teams have Sproles, Benson, Ridley.

5 teams have Sproles, Benson, Steven Jackson.

Contest gets rid of 800 teams this week. Surely some will be from this group but it, obviously, does not give teams any kind of bye week as Sproles only affects 345 teams.

:hey:

...plus Jordy Nelson. And Aaron Hernandez. Unless the Chargers give me a huge advantage, it was a nice run.

Sproles injury is huge. I have two total healthy rbs now (McGahee and D. Wilson). Sproles, Tate, Mendenhall, Benson all hurt.

I'm pretty much sunk.

Andrew Luck was giving me hope... until I saw that I only have Royster and J. Rodgers active at RB this week with the Sproles injury. :X

ETA: forgot I also had McFadden! SO you're telling me there's a chance...

Luck, Marshall, Decker, T. Smith, Blackmon, Olsen, Prater, and Chicago Def have me above the cut line from last week already. Still have Ryan, McFadden, Peterson, A. Brown to go...wondering how much higher line will be this week. 150? 160?
