@evansilva: Sammy Watkins' first unofficial 40 time: 4.34
Almost identical numbers to A.J. green though. 34.5" vert and 126" broad for AJG. Of course he has the elite height on his side.10'6" broad jump. I thought he would be more explosive, too. Can't wait for the 40!Only 34" vert for Watkins, surprising.
Frame count using video. No stopwatches here. How are you measuring them?Exactly.I don't see any reason to get excited about the unofficial times. Why even talk about them until we know what the official times are? You can almost always add .1 to those unofficial NFL Network times.
I just measured Evans' second run, here are my splits:
10: 1.67
20: 2.70
40: 4.60
RB's are the most interesting to me since I'm really having trouble differentiating them at this point.Really looking forward to watching Hyde, Robinson, Seastrunk, and Hill tomorrow.
It matters. Everything matters. Stronger guys tend to be more physical, better blockers and less injury prone.Basically reveals who's been hitting the weights.Dri Archer with 20 reps is shocking. Not that it means much.
Mayock should know better, he said he was one of his favorite WRs in the draft, and was a bigger Hines Ward.Mayock says that time is going to kill Landry. He seems fast enough on the field to me![]()

Good information, thanks.Almost identical numbers to A.J. green though. 34.5" vert and 126" broad for AJG. Of course he has the elite height on his side.10'6" broad jump. I thought he would be more explosive, too. Can't wait for the 40!Only 34" vert for Watkins, surprising.
Were you surprised by the time, better than expected?Just went over Evans' 1st run, ran a lot better:Exactly.I don't see any reason to get excited about the unofficial times. Yeah, he picked it up at the end. The 2nd run, showed less intensity. Were you surprised by the time, better than expected?Just went over Evans' 1st run, ran a lot better:Exactly.I don't see any reason to get excited about the unofficial times. I thought 4.55, looked like he had build up speed.
Green had a 4.48 40, 4.21 shuttle and 6.91 3 cone for future reference.Good information, thanks.Almost identical numbers to A.J. green though. 34.5" vert and 126" broad for AJG. As great it would be if Watkins was a few inches taller, he's still a much faster/agile Justin Blackmon.Almost identical numbers to A.J. green though. 34.5" vert and 126" broad for AJG. Probably. This class was really all about Ebron, Amaro and ASJ. Amaro was pretty underwhelming yesterday IMO.2013 TE class > 2014 TEs?

Landry not running the 2nd 40.. Agency likely pulled the plug, damage control
Thanks, good research.Green had a 4.48 40, 4.21 shuttle and 6.91 3 cone for future reference.Good information, thanks.Almost identical numbers to A.J. green though. 34.5" vert and 126" broad for AJG. Recent combine comparisons: 40yd/VJ/BJ/SS/3C using 40 time and ht/wt:
Torrey Smith 4.41, 41, 126, 4.13, 6.72
Pierre Garcon 4.42, 36.5, 125, 4.19, 6.90
Cordarrelle Patterson 4.42, 37, 128
They just showed his run superimposed with the other 4.30 times today along with Marquis Goodwin from last year and Janis was clearly behind the others, no way his official time is 4.30.Jeff Janis. 4.30 you gatta be kidding me. Fastest white WR ever?
Roddy is a bit thicker, not sure about stronger or more physical, because that describes Watkins, too.I think I've said it before, but Watkins reminds me of R. White.
We don't know if Sammy is the fastest. We don't have an official time. Patterson had a hand time similar to Sammy. Thanks, good research.Green had a 4.48 40, 4.21 shuttle and 6.91 3 cone for future reference.Recent combine comparisons: 40yd/VJ/BJ/SS/3C using 40 time and ht/wt:Good information, thanks.Almost identical numbers to A.J. green though. 34.5" vert and 126" broad for AJG. Sammy the fastest. I see the Smith and Garcon comps a lot (also Roddy White) for size, so well chosen.
I think Watkins is a more natural football player than Smith, a more complete WR, more physical RAC.
I'm really high on Patterson, I think he is in the top 5 conversation in a few years.
They will have to take the average of his 2 runs and his 2nd run was a tenth slower. They just showed his run superimposed with the other 4.30 times today along with Marquis Goodwin from last year and Janis was clearly behind the others, no way his official time is 4.30.Jeff Janis. 4.30 you gatta be kidding me. Don't worry he'll improve on his time @ his pro day. I personally like Landry a lot so am glad his stock likely took a hit. I think he's got a Stevie Johnson vibe to him.Mike Loyko@NEPD_Loyko

Wrestling isn't really more of a lineman skillset, the weight classes in the bottom half of the range are almost always the more skilled, athletic, technical athletes. It almost becomes a different sport entirely when you talk about lineman-sized guys wrestling, different type of competition.Roddy is a bit thicker, not sure about stronger or more physical, because that describes Watkins, too.I think I've said it before, but Watkins reminds me of R. White.
White was a state wrestling champ, which is more of a lineman skill set, it must help with an intuitive sense of leverage on things like defeating press coverage.
That's a pretty disappointing time. I know he's more quick than fast but still, that's surprising.Manziel with an official 4.68
Don't think that's his time.I think Benjamin's time of 4.53 is pretty decent.

Keep it coming...I thought Manziel would try to bulk up. I guess he's going for a faster 40x. He'll make more money running a 4.4 for sure.
He did have 9 7/8ths inch hand-size, which is good, but not the gigantic 10.5″ some predicted.
And he measured under 6". The legend is being torn down piece by piece.
That's not official, the official times are just coming out now. Evans just got a 4.53 official. Benjamin won't be close to that. I'd be shocked. Looking at a mid 4.6 here.http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/kelvin-benjamin?id=2543471Don't think that's his time.I think Benjamin's time of 4.53 is pretty decent.
I think Quentin Patton or Kendall Wright would be a better comps:@evansilva: Vincent Brown's Combine measurables: 5'11 1/4, 187. 4.68 forty. Jarvis Landry's Combine measurables: 5'11 1/2, 205. 4.65 forty.
