I think that is the big fear. They are going to pay a guy 10 million and he is going to half ### it and complain on top of it. He has done it before.Agree 100%. It had to get messy and involve more money IMO.Don't buy that at all. It can't just be about money, as Djax will be making LESS elsewhere next year if he's cut... and we have so much cap room. Something messed up happened or is going on, someone please find out!Its about money. "Cutting Jackson would save $6.5 million against the 2014 cap, and perhaps more importantly, shave roughly $11 million off Philly's 2015 salary cap commitments." -RotoworldI'm going to be pretty disappointed if this is just a contract dispute. I want to hear he was banging players wives or coaches wives or secretly doing blow or something.Pretty much since Howie has been the GM you simply don't see ANY headlines. Chip was off of the map when we looked for a coach. Even our FA signings seem to come out of nowhere. Hell, you don't even hear about FA visits here anymore. This doesn't shock me that we haven't heard anything from them because we haven't for almost 2 years now.If it's truly at the point where we will pay him 6 million to leave you HAVE to believe it got messy. We are not that inept to just cut someone for no good reason. Given what Desean said once the season ended I think we can put two and two together at this point.Yes. But what could be so egregious to cut a pro bowl player with no headlines of misconduct? He HAD to do something. If they're going to cut him they'll be paying 6 million just to go away.
Just for a refresher this is what happened just a couple years ago when he wanted more money. If you're Howie and him and his agent come asking for more money you CAN NOT chance this happening.

As I've said, I could deal with everything because of what he brings to the field but when he pulled that contract crap 2 days after the season considering his existing deal it was the final straw. I do agree that waiting this long to move him seems on the surface to be asset mismanagement but perhaps they've tried to reach out to him with poor results.
