I think the refs brains are turned off right now. Contact = penalty is the only thing that computes.

I think he needed it. He didn't want that hanging in the air till Week 1. Chip could probably read his guys mental state.

I posted this in the game thread, but it seems more relevant to this thread.

I like what I've seen of Josey. Wonder if they try to IR Polk and have Shady/Sproles/Tucker/Josey as their 4 backs, assuming they keep that many. If someone picks up Polk, oh well. He had injury concerns coming out of college and you can't rely on him.
