World Cup Smartphone apps: what are you using?
I am looking for suggestions or preference for the soccer apps that you will be using during the World Cup. Maybe even your experience in using any of the ones listed below?
My preferred soccer app is
OneFootball (not the Brasil one), but I do like
FutMob for some things so I think I will be using both of them (at least at first). I do have the paid version of FutMob so I have been using them more and more lately (hello USLPro), but OneFootball is easily still my preference. I believe that each also provides some in-game audio for the World Cup. The
MLS Matchday app looks like they will have full WC coverage as well... but I do not think I will be using that app for WC coverage as I barely use it for MLS coverage.
I have the
TuneIn Radio app that I will use if I am in the car while a game is on, I am pretty sure they carry the BBC broadcast of the games by way of TalkSport. All of the games are also supposed to be available on the
ESPN Radio app, but I am not really a big ESPN fan so I do not have it installed...
That being said, I did install the
WatchESPN app so i could watch games when there is no TV available, or use the pitch view as a second screen on my tablet. I have not had a whole bunch of luck with that app so far for live events (especially with ChromeCast), and am hoping it is just my crappy home wifi that was the issue.
Has anyone looked into the
FIFA app? Is there anything there worth checking out? Am I overlooking anything obvious? What else is out there that I should be aware of?
P.S. I usually leave a
LiveScore.com window open on my desktop while games are in progress, but I am open to a better suggestion there too.
