Might as well. It's a change from the years of futility I always #####ed about.
Huh, I haven't really noticed any change in futility to be honest, but good for you if you think you're seeing something.

I only wanted the number one pick to get a shot at a franchise changing QB. From what I've seen of this year's college crop, there isn't one. With that being said, they could still use a true stud in the secondary, and that won't be available past pick 5 or 6. I'm all for changing the attitude, but if winning 6 games versus 5 costs them a superstar DB, I'll lose every damn time.

The way Goff is playing right now, he will fall to the bottom of the first or maybe second. He's not worth a high first round pick, but should the Bears take a shot at him there if he falls?

Whether he's worth a high pick or not, I think he'll be taken early. The 9ers need a QB for sure, and I think Browns and Lions may be looking to start over. The lack of blue chips QB prospects in the draft actually raises Goffs value, he and Lynch may be the only first round caliber picks at QB, whoever wants em is gonna have to pay for em.

Maybe the sunshine on the valley is in view for this team. A great win in a game that looked to be a major uphill climb before kickoff. I recall the Bears going into STL last year or in 2013 and taking a beating. This was great. Ohhh and the Hawks beat the Blues last night which might have been a road win as well!

Man the Rams went right down the field on that first possession too. Just freakin dominated them after that.

Nice to see a dominant win for a change, as the Rams ripped us the last time we were in STL.

Forte's been great for so long, but Langford's speed gives us another dimension. Don't hurry back, Matt.

Lions winning in Fudgetown (after doing everything they could to give it away) bodes well for us having a chance in Lame-beau.

Well some talk around the house surfaces a few questions - what is going to happen to Cutler and Forte for 2016? I can see the team holding Cutler but with the way that Langford has played Forte's situation might be murky. One thing that bears notice, the OL has been very good in these last two games and recall , they were coming off a short week including a west coast MNF. Impressive stuff.

Tracy Porter showing how to really play corner, Bryce Callahan looks good too but Fuller is still a deer in headlights. Ball is a bum.

Tackling was a lot better.

McClellin doing his best Urlacher impression.

Good offensive game plan by Gase.

Mariani needs to go.

#Bears First-and-10: For the first time as a Bear, Jay Cutler (98.7) has a higher passer rating than Aaron Rodgers (90.3) over a 6-game span

Also looks like we have both of our tackles for the future. Leno looking good at LT. Now gonna need a couple guards.

Alshon out again. Huge loss that hurts the team badly this week. Getting harder and harder to justify giving this guy #1 wr money. Never healthy

Grasu back at center as expected. Slauson moves over to left guard and Patrick Omameh starts at right guard. Vlad Ducasse on the bench.

McPhee active

Re-watched two-point try: #Bears' Jay Cutler checks to run, but Martellus Bennett runs route, allowing T.J. Ward to come in free, make stop. Twitter

I am just absolutely confused as to how a HC with this much experience can destroy a chance for a win. No FG prior to the last drive where a lousy call killed the 2 point conversion. These are the games that make you realize that Fox has his limits.

Can't remember a game where we had 0 penalties (found out last time was 20 years ago). Not taking the 3 points with over 10 minutes left was ridiculous. Not sure why they don't go jumbo on the 2-pt try and playaction to Bennett or Miller or even bootleg. Just dumb playcalling.

Every time we get near the 10, I get this overwhelming feeling of dread that usually turns out to be warranted.

Oh well, back to footshooter mode.

I think the young guys have performed well, which is really what this season is all about. Still don't think a legit NFL qb will be found in the next draft, which is what our future banks upon.

i was stunned to hear that going for it with 10 min left at the 4 yd line is being critized so widely on sports radio. I was at the game and agreed with the call to go for it at the time and still do today. I personally agreed with fox's post game comments that they were probably not going to get that close tot he GL again and expecting 2 more FG drives was wishful thinking. the 2 pt conversion play is obviously on Jay to pick the right playcall. I think most if not all teams go to the line with a pass play and run play called... jay thought he saw the run play as the better option and it didnt work, not too angry about it unless the coaching staff reviews tape and determines Jay made the incorrect call tot he run

In the end that call did not work out for them and cost them the game. Of course it is easy to want them to go for it while being at the game. The tension mounts up and the anticipated response IF they would have scored would have made for compelling football. With 10 minutes left and a FG on the board, they would have needed a TD to win but there was enough time to get two more possessions so I disagree with what Fox said when he expressed his lack of faith that they would not be able to get down into the red zone again. Great football teams have the confidence to get he ball back to get into scoring position. Denver was not presenting a stifling defense. They were tough but beatable.

Atta boy Jay, another 2 turnovers. For the season that makes 11 fumbles/INT's to 13 passing TD's. Can't wait until he's gone.
You're seriously putting these losses on Jay? He's the only guy keeping us in the games. Overhauled the entire roster and half of the team has been hurt all year. No one to throw to. How Bennett isn't talked about more I have no idea. Guy has been a complete bum most of the year and has all but quit at this point.
