**Official 2015 In-Season Dynasty Completed Trades Thread** (1 Viewer)

12 team ppr dynasty

Traded Charles Sims to the Martin owner for 2016 mid second. I am just not a believer and wouldrather try my handsat a rookie rb for that roster spot next year.

12 team Superflex

Gave:

Stephon Diggs (barely knew you!)

Christine Michael (finally divesting of him after taking him as a rookie)

2016 3rd rounder

for

Mike Evans

Ladarius Green (I own Gates too)

The other owner is reigning league champ and currently in first place.

Team A gave up Jamaal Charles and 2016 late 4th round pick

Team B gave up 2016 1st (probably the 1.01; team is 0-6)

I'm neither party in this trade.

I'd take the 1.01 next year considering Charles will be 29 coming off an ACL

Evans was first or second round pick in dynasty startups this offseason. Someone traded him for Michael? Hype is a funny thing.

Who did you add with the open roster spot?
There is nothing on the wire that I like. Kicker bye week is coming up so going to add a second kicker and hopefully fill the spot better in a couple weeks.

12 team PPR Rebuild

Gave: Gates, Tamme, LaFell

Rec: Snead, Ertz, 16 3rd

12 team PPR Rebuild

Gave: Ivory

Rec: 2016 1st (likely 1.08-1.12)

Team A: Jordan Mathews

Team B: Lamar Miller
Matthews side for me. You get a lot more years from WRs with less wear and tear.

Team B gave up 2016 1st (probably the 1.01; team is 0-6)

I assuming it's a top 2 pick I'd go for it. As others have said he's too close to 30 with now both legs having torn ACL.

I'll take the pick. The value will increase tenfold by April. Charles is just getting older.

Well, the other owner is now thinking of renegging. He offered it via text, as we've done several times before. Funny thing is, he offered it to me. I accepted via text and he said he was going to post it up officially on the site later. Last night he logged on but no offer. This morning no offer. So I texted him and got a wall of text back. I just replied "I know you offered a trade and I accepted it." We will see what happens. A man's word is his word as far as I'm concerned. But that isn't worth much these days. Personally I'd rather lose a trade than lose a bit of my good name.

He probably saw you posted it on this site, with subsequent comments, and backed out. Deal isn't a deal until officially offered on league site and accepted. You put the cart before the horse in this one and cost yourself.

Are there two Adam Harstads?
Huh? Not that I know of. I mean, yes, Google tells me that there is another Adam Harstad who lives somewhere in the Virginia, but I don't know if he plays fantasy football.

That would royally piss me off. If I tell you its done you don't go look at it, you mark it off your list. I would never do business with him again and make sure that everybody he played with knew he was a (rhymes with bunt).

Yes, a deal isn't a deal until it is accept at the league hosting site. One should never post anything here until the deal is official.

Regardless of what is agreed upon in principle, nothing is official until it is accepted through the software. I sweat out deals all the time while waiting for an owner to get cold feet or come to his senses even though a deal was agreed upon through email.

nah, unlike many people he honored his word and executed it this morning. Some people still value their word I guess, even if you don't.

In our league your word is your bond. You have to have proof that the other person accepted, but if it was done via electronic medium that's pretty easy. As the commish if both people accept a deal I put it through even if one side tries to back out later.

This is why I rarely do any "dealing" through email/txt.

Besides you would have looked like more of a jerk for robbing him had it gone through so look at it like he saved you that

14 team PPR, I'm rebuilding.

Gave:

Rivers

Smelter

Got:

Mariota
I like Smelter as a lottery pick but this is easily MM.

12 team deep PPR league. 6 per TD 1 per 25 pass/ 1 per 10 rush/rec

Sent

Stafford

Giants DST

Rec

Bills DST

J. Mckinnon

2015 1st. (Projected 7-12 overall)

I have Newton, Luck, Mariota at QB

He had Peyton, Cutler, Vick

5 firsts next year (what are the QB crop looking like?
Steal for the 1st. But don't use it on QB.

QBs next year have several real NFL draft first round picks, but no surefire franchise guys at all.
Surefire? no. But I like Cook enough to prefer him to Stafford; probably rate him near Derek Carr.

I wouldn't ever agree to a trade via email. I would simply say, put the trade out there and I'll think about it and make a decision by such and such time. You never know what can transpire in the league from the time you discuss a trade by email and when you actually pull the trigger. It just makes it more official when you perform the trade at the league hosting site.

Anyone seeing recent Beckham deals? I get like two offers a day and they are all over the map. The best one was Sanders/Jeffrey for Beckham/Wright, but I'm having such a hard time determining what seems right for Beckham now that I'm almost paralyzed when it comes to offers.

Just don't trade him.

Probably the best advice.

...and if you do decide to trade him it will be obvious because it should be a haul there is no question is a good deal for you

Sanders/Jeffery for Beckham/Wright is fair value by my charts. But there's something to be said for just holding top-5 dynasty assets when you do manage to get your hands on them. Nothing says you have to sell your incredibly-young, super-talented, insanely-productive young players.

1 PPR Start 3 WR 2 RB 1 flex everything else standard

Team A gives Ingram + future 3rd

Team B gives B Marshall + future 2nd

Team A needs WR and Team B needs RB help.

Gave: St. Louis Rams D/ST

Got: Denver Broncos D/ST + 2017 2nd

Some background-- the league has very high performance scoring for defenses, and teams will frequently go negative. Points allowed on defense is by far the #1 contributor to defensive scores. Defenses play a *huge* role in the league; the gap between the best and worst owner in defensive production is larger than the gap between the best and the worst owners at QB, RB, or TE. (Despite owners starting two RBs each). So defenses are important, and St. Louis' playoff schedule is important.

The Broncos owner also had Green Bay, and league rules prohibit starting defenses on a bye. There were only four defenses on waivers to choose from. He is second in points scored, but 2-4, and really wants to avoid another loss. He offered me Denver for St. Louis straight up and I shot him down and countered with my Atlanta Falcons defense for his Green Bay Packers. He countered back with this trade, which I accepted.

The context is added so you don't think the other owner is insane. He had reasons for doing what he did. With all of that said, however, I still think that this was a terrible trade for him. But he's a good owner who knows what he was doing, and it's not my job to manage his team, so I wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth.
