Not working out so well after 1 week.

Thankfully this is the dynasty trade thread and not the 1 week trade thread.

Last Sunday, 16 team IDP league

Gave: Todd Gurley, Don Lewis and Kerry Wynn

Got: LeVon Bell, Thomas Rawls and JJ Watt

Hard to give up Gurley but my team was 2-7 prior to the move and the team trading for him was/is a contender. Lewis got injured less than an hour after the trade.

12 team ppr/te 1.5 ppr

Q 1-2 Rb 3-5 Wr 1-2 Te

Sent

Lat Murray

J Cam

Inman

Latimer

Got

2x 2016 1st's, projected as 1.09/1.10

2x 2016 2nd's projected 2.09/2.10

2016 3rd projected 3.02

So 9,10,21,22,26 overall as of right now

In Pwingles' league, confirmed butthurt about this trade.

The kid with the picks traded off Cooper to get them, to then turn around and get Latavius and some trash.

HIGHLY unlikely that Chris Johnson makes a difference for a contender. Horrible trade for Team A.

Gave: Eric Decker

Got: Jeremy Hill
I'd still want Decker here. He's a pretty underrated dynasty WR, and Hill is solely dependent on TDs. If it is not a PPR I'd give Hill side a little more credit.

*edit* read it wrong like a dummy. Great trade for rebuilder. Contender is going to hate himself in 5 weeks, or less if White gets to play this year.

Just before last week's games, I made the following trade in a Zealots Field league:

Traded:

Matt Ryan, QB, ATL

Tyrod Taylor, QB BUF

2016 3rd round rookie pick (should be toward the end of the round)

For:

Tom Brady, QB, NEP

Jimmy Garoppalo, QB, NEP

I'm pretty primed for a run at the title for the next few years (including this one) and felt Brady gives me a lot better chance than the Ryan/Taylor combo. This leaves me thin at QB for this year but, going forward, I feel I can pick up backup QBs for realatively little.

The 2nd trade was mine. I'm really happy with how it turned out (obviously). My philosophy has been to load up on young high-upside WRs. Now I have Mike Evans, Allen Robinson, Sammy Watkins, Allen Hurns, Kevin White, and Jordan Matthews. This should be a team that can compete for a long time.

Ebron helps me out too, with Jimmy Graham looking a bit lackluster in Seattle.

In case anyone is interested at one point the offer was: HIllman and Rishard Matthews for Ladarius Green and Kevin White.

Either White or Ebron would have been OK...both is great

Late 1st (1.12-1.16) for Jeremy Maclin
Maclin I think for me

I can get behind that deal for you. Didn't give up too much anyway

12 team PPR

Calvin and DeAngelo

for

Eifert, '16 first, and '16 second (these will probably be the last picks of the round at this point)

Uh eifert and picks, not even close
Other guy only has one loss on the season (last week), and has Gronk and Walker at TE still (can only start 1). He lost Lynch, Freeman, Edleman, Dion, and Charles to injuries already. I think this move clinches the title for him this year, which sucks for me as the 2nd place team right now...

There is no such thing as any deal clinching the title for anyone.

It's a very nice future move, but one that could actually HELP this year with some luck in the playoffs. It happens. The move that looks like it benefits one side NOW actually ends up working out the other way.

Gave 2 2017 1sts (obviously murky but likely one early to mid and one late) and Edelman, got Dez this morning. Romo going down has me regretting it a bit

Dez and Murray have killed me in more than one league this year. I think I will be parking Dez on my bench for the remainder of 2016. Just better options.

Abdullah is probably worth a late first at most. Stewart and Taylor an early second at most. Austin a late second at most.

Assuming you can find a buyer for those prices, that's a total price of about two mid firsts for a low mileage three down back with good draft pedigree who is currently a solid rb1 and is healthy with a good playoff schedule. Not really an overpay.

Yeah. I see three guys I wouldn't ever use - or keep on my roster for long (Stewart, Austin and Taylor) plus a good potential but probably never full time RB, traded for a solid, mid-career top 10 RB. Big overpay for Abdullah's long term potential.

People need to get over their Ingram disappointment from years ago and realize that he is a cornerstone RB (to the extent that's not an oxymoron).
