I like it. Younger and better at QB. Witten now/ASJ later is an adequate replacement for Kelce (for what it's worth I'm high on both Kelce and ASJ). Cooks is the primary "price" for the QB upgrade as I see it. Don't expect a ton from Smith/Crabtree...decent bench fodder.

That's kinda how I saw it too. Hated to lose Cooks but Luck in a 6 pt/passing TD format is nearly untouchable, even in a 12-teamer. Took a couple months of off and on negotiating to get this done, I was reluctant to move both Kelce and Cooks for a while.

12 team devy superflex (.5/1/1.5)PPR start 1/1/1/1/4flex/1superflex

Gave: Kelvin Benjamin/Cameron Artis-Payne

Got: Melvin Gordon/Brandon Oliver/Mike Wallace
Gordon/Wallace
Gordon. Drop Wallace and it's even.
well I like Benjamin > Gordon so that didn't work...he did try but apparently he also likes Benjamin more. While I value the community valuation of players I just don't understand/agree with the valuation of certain players...benjamin specifically. for reference Keenan allen was worth WAY more than 1.01 this time last year and didn't look as impressive as benjamin to me. I think there is a huge overreaction to 'efficiency' and drops...one mans opinion
You may be misremembering. I traded Allen straight up for Watkins around this time last year and people were split on it I believe.

I traded 1.5 for Keenan Allen last year (Hyde)

This year I traded Keenan Allen for a 2016 1st (projected top 3)

Gave: Foster

Got: Torrey Smith

Was planning to ride Foster until he's done but with Forte/Peterson already in start 1 RB I decided to take a chance on Smith, even if it looks like he's out of Baltimore.
Is it start 1 RB max or min?

Not a huge fan of Torrey no matter where he ends up, but if he would start for you while Foster never would, it could make sense.
Minimum, we can start up to 5.
Probably don't like it then. If it was 1 RB max I could see it. I understand taking a shot on someone while Foster still has some value, I just don't think Torrey is that guy. I think we've seen enough of him to gauge that him becoming a good fantasy asset is somewhat of a longshot. And with Forte/Peterson, it seems like you have a team that will be competing this year so still have use for Foster.
Bump from March...

Not that I can tell the future but I'm happy to have been rid of the ticking time bomb even if it was for Smith.

Team A Gets: Rashad Jennings

Team B Gets: 3.7
Wow..Jennings really falling off a cliff here. I guess I can see dealing for a mid 3rd if a good RB prospect fell and I had depth at RB. But I'm not ready to give up on Jennings as at least a flex starter for another couple years.

Depends a lot on team situation and whether contending or rebuilding I suppose.

2.8

2016 1 St and 2nd

Mike Evans

3.8
Cheapest I've seen Evans go. That's stealing. Love how the 3.8 needed to come back in the deal.
I love seeing trades like that. As if the 3.8 was the missing link, the dealbreaker!

10 team PPR league

Contending team:

Trades Jeremy Hill

Team that lost Foster in a panic:

Trades Blount, D. Parker, 2016 1st, 2017 1st (mid to late's)

Got: Foster and 2016 5

Gave: Stedman Bailey and 2016 2 (late)

I had traded Foster and 1.12 in offseason for 1.2 (ultimately became K. White and Latimer) and was looking to buy pre-injury so happy to get a potential stud for a late playoff run for a late 2 and a guy that was barely roster worthy (25 players and only keep 20 each year).

Any other Foster trades?

Old deal doesn't really impact this one.

I think I'd be willing to gamble on Foster for a late 2nd.

12 Team PPR 1 QB 2-4 RB 2-4 WR 1-2 TE 1 K 1 D

Team A gave Le'Veon Bell & Kenny Stills

Team B gave T.J. Yeldon & DeAndre Hopkins

This is not the time to trade foster. As an owner, I'm either going to use him in the playoffs myself, or move him to a contender close to the trade deadline, unless I get a compelling offer. I turned down a first round pick before the injury, but I'd do it now.

Entirely possible. I think maybe I only remember thinking I was in the minority of taking Watkins over Allen.

In any case I think the great seasons by OBJ/Evans have people undervaluing the others that had great seasons but not as good as those 2 (like Watkins/Benjamin)

By "Pick 3" do you mean a 3rd round pick? Because I think I might take 1.3 for TY Hilton even without the IDPs and handcuff.

If it's a 3rd rounder, then I like the Hilton side.

You have to be the only one on FBG to interpret that as possibly being anything other than the #3 pick. Yes, it is the #3 rookie pick. Ya know, pick 3.

I sent Sanders, Toon, and a 2016 4th

I receive Randle and a 2016 2nd

Ppr all touchdowns 6 start 1qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1te and 2 flex.

I just lost Foster and still have Cobb, Brown and Tate for receivers.

I get the positional need, but would take the Sanders side objectively. Not convinced Randle is more than a one-year answer in Dallas.

A gave up:

Ajayi, Jay MIA RB

Murray, Latavius OAK RB

B gave up:

Rivers, Philip SDC QB

Sims, Charles TBB RB

Allen, Keenan SDC WR

Murray believer and Sims/Allen doubter here, so I like the Murray side, assuming its start 1QB, 12-team or less.

Suspect I'm in the minority on this one.

I see Sanders as the same thing. I doubt Peyton plays more than 1 or 2 years, and with Kubiak running the show I expect more running. DT is still going to get his, Anderson/Ball/Hillman will do well at the running back spot. We have seen what Sanders can be with a good quarterback like Ben and his best season was something around 65 catches for 700 yards and 6 touchdowns. Those guys are easy to find.
