If the Trump lead in Missouri holds, this is a bad night for Ted Cruz. Not only could he not win a state, but Kasich staying alive isn't the best of news for him either.
Beautiful post and absolutely true.Yup he would fill out the R loser trifecta of nice guys getting steamrolled by dems perfectly with McCain and Romney.
He's a pile of #### and part of the problem.Krauthammer is an angry man
Sure. But let give you the what if scenario? You can't win one state and then win the convention. That's not how it works. You guys need to read the rules.
If Trump comes up 50 or 100 delegates short and the rest are 400-500 behind him, it would explode the party to rip it from him. Which of course would be great TV.
But Kasich isn't going to be the nominee based off of winning Ohio. He's gonna have to follow it up with more wins.
It's not impossible that Hillary coughs herself out of the race. I am convinced she is hiding a major health problem.Sure. But let give you the what if scenario?
What if: Kasich takes this win, people are turned off by Trump's rallies, and Kasich wins California, Pennsylvania, New York? Suddenly we go into Cleveland. Kasich is still far behind, but has incredible momentum. First ballot, nobody has enough votes to win. Second ballot, Kasich.
It's not impossible.
Ehhh. Romney never struck me as especially authentic in his nice guy persona.Beautiful post and absolutely true.
Heard his speech tonight and he seems like a good guy, but why would a liberal vote for him over Hillary?Yep. He's the type of Christian that I can get behind. Someone who walks the walk and doesn't just label themselves as such.
Liberals would have no problem voting for this guy and, in my opinion, he has the best shot at beating Hillary.
From a policy standpoint, I have significant disagreements with Kasich. Probably enough that I couldn't vote for him. That said, against Hillary, it would give me pause, and I'd have to reconcile a lot of cognitive dissonance voting one way or another. So, it's not like Kasich is completely out of the question for me.Because Hillary?
Romney was a pile of ####. He reeked of not giving a #### about anyone but himself. He's the R version of Hillary. Totally transparent in his 'it's all about me' look.Ehhh. Romney never struck me as especially authentic in his nice guy persona.
That's dumb. She's all that standing between us and a Republican-controlled government and the long-term future of the Supreme Court.Because Hillary?
Maybe not full on liberals.Heard his speech tonight and he seems like a good guy, but why would a liberal vote for him over Hillary?
It was Urban Meyer wasn't it?Ohio held. Thank sweet baby Jesus and the orphans that we held. If we went Trump too, I might've had to burn all my Buckeye trees all the #### down. Pride: intact. For now....
Can't believe the losers in Ohio failed so miserably. You had a great shot at legal marijuana and the massive economic benefit of it and you blew that too.Ohio held. They wouldn't. Just like I might like Bernie from a standpoint of believing he's honest and fights for what he believes. However, I could never vote for someone that far left because I don't believe in the policy. So I'd vote for someone more dishonest if their policies more aligned with what I believed.Heard his speech tonight and he seems like a good guy, but why would a liberal vote for him over Hillary?
I'm only speaking for myself here, having voted for W in 2000, then Kerry and Obama twice, but I much prefer Kasich's message and personality to Hillary's. I feel absolutely nothing when I hear Clinton speak except for perhaps mild irritation from that voice. To be honest, I don't really know what her campaign is other than "if you like Obama, I won't rock the boat".Heard his speech tonight and he seems like a good guy, but why would a liberal vote for him over Hillary?

You are the mouth-breathing-est of all mouth breathers. Away with you Captain Sociopath.Says the president of mouth breathing losers of America. I'm right you are wrong. You are the mouth-breathing-est of all mouth breathers. Away with you Captain Sociopath.
Some new material tonight. Is there a single person here who doesn't know this speech by heart at this point?
Missouri is the only shot. Cruz went from 60/40 favorite at the release of the exit polls to 2:1 underdog about 3 minutes ago on the prediction sites.Trump leading in NC. Does Cruz win anywhere tonight?
As opposed to HRC pandering in every speech? Is there a single person here who doesn't know this speech by heart at this point?
To be fair, Hillary changes positions so much you never know what she'll say. In the general I wouldn't be surprised if she said we don't win anymore. As opposed to HRC pandering in every speech?
I didn't realize he was running against Obama, because those other two probably would've had a pretty good shot to beat this version of Hillary.Yup he would fill out the R loser trifecta of nice guys getting steamrolled by dems perfectly with McCain and Romney.
The stuff that is going to start coming out of Hillary's mouth over the next few months is going to be un.believable.To be fair, Hillary changes positions so much you never know what she'll say. In the general I wouldn't be surprised if she said we don't win anymore.
Yeah solid point.I didn't realize he was running against Obama, because those other two probably would've had a pretty good shot to beat this version of Hillary.
Name one.Update: Mizzou has closed to a 0.6% difference with 68% in.
Rubio dropping out is going to make a difference in some races.
Glad he picked up Marco's flag.JFC...Cruz declaring victory despite not winning a single state.
such terrible shtick
A guy he rarely beats at the actual voting booth.bolzano said:Rubio suspended his campaign. Moreover, Kasich is due in court tomorrow, as he doesn't have enough signatures to remain on the ballot in Pennsylvania. If he loses, then there's a good chance that he exits the race, as well. Hence Cruz might soon be in a 2-man race with a guy that he's beating H2H in the polls.
Rubio team filed the challenge in PA. Rubio has dropped out. Good chance they'll drop the challenge. Even if for whatever bizarre reason they do not, the deadline was 5pm, they did not file until after 6pm. The PA judge involved said:bolzano said:Rubio suspended his campaign. Rubio's attorney will drop that suit tomorrow.bolzano said:No, the challenge was time stamped at 5:13 PM. Moreover, legal analysts have stated that the challenge should be valid/ considered as long as Rubio's attorney was in line by 5 PM.
You keep forgetting that people just don't like Cruz.bolzano said:Well, I'm not sure that it makes a difference, but the challenge was actually filed by a Rubio supporter, not Rubio himself. Moreover, Rubio/ his supporters could very well choose to back Cruz over Kasich/ Trump, since Rubio is more closely aligned with Cruz ideologically than he is with the other two.
Completely agree.Maybe not full on liberals.
But will get plenty of the votes from people happy to not have to choose Trump or Hillary
