Pretty sure this Sweet 16 appearance is of zero surprise. Talk to me when this one loss team does something special. Honestly, they got bailed out by awful officiating yesterday too. Would've been a 3 point game when not only did they have a blatant goaltend call not go against them, but instead a T against the powerful Northwestern team. 

To answer your question, they still suck.

Iowa State switching to zone when Swanigan sat in the second half flustered Purdue and I'd guess if Painter had the chance again he would have sat Swanigan for so long.  But by the last few minutes they got it back - Swanigan's passing from the high post got the ball moving again.

 
I'm pretty excited today and couldn't sleep much throughout the night. I don't expect a win tonight but anything can happen. An NCAA win for the 1st time in 44 years was all I really wanted going in to the tourney. Now they are playing with house money and most of the pressure should be on Duke. Hopefully the atmosphere in the arena will be like a home game at the CLA. 10 hours is gonna until game time and it's gonna feel like 20.

Best of luck.  I drank many a beer on Lake Murray and SC will always have a place in my heart.  Enjoy the game and I hope SC plays well.

Thanks man. I grew up on Lake Murray and my dad has an acre lot on Lake Murray that he's owned since before I was born. Would love to build a house there one day.

Good luck today, ITZ and all SC fans. I'm sure you know that 99% of the viewing public will be with you, but Duke is really, really good.

 
Duke and UNC final starting to look more and more likely if you ask me. Great time to buy stock in Tums and other anti acid products. Or alcohol. Or drugs.

My one bracket that's doing good in TJ's contest has a Duke/UNC final.

It definitely isn't new for the program. But it doesn't matter, this team is going to win it all. Just too many people to shut down if they continue to play at this level. Yes, anything can happen, that's the beautiful of the tournament, but Vegas knew what they were doing giving Duke the best odds to win it. Tatum is doing his best 'Melo impression right now. 

 
Michigan has got to do a better job blocking out and preventing offensive rebounds today, or they are going to get blown out.  They can not count on hitting 16 threes again.

The way I see it, our teams are on an inevitable collision course which will culminate next Sunday at MSG.

If you buy finals tickets now and it did hit, easily double your money.

Problem is, being at a huge stadium, any other final and you take a bath.

 
The officiating has been horrible. It's a turrible look for the NCAA that casual fans watch the huge beginning of season tournaments where officials whistle every contact and March Madness which is just massively terribly officiated. Just awful.
