*Official 2018 Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles* - Tough way to go out. Magic finally gone. (2 Viewers)

I for one am not surprised at all by the moves of the Rams and Vikings.

NFC is clearly ahead of the AFC.

This is great year for NFC teams to go all-in.

Eagles, Vikings, Rams and Saints are my picks for division winners.

Wildcard will be a dog fight with many teams but my picks are 49ers and Falcons.

Any one of the division winners could and should win the Super Bowl if they make it.

Patriots, Steelers are the only threats again this year in the AFC.

Houston and KC round out the division winners.

If Watson stays healthy Houston will be a legit contender.

Wildcards - Colts and Raiders.

I thought the Jags would be a contender but they let their WR's and TE walk.

Seriously, how do you screw up a team that was 1 play away from the Super Bowl.
Good post, agree with most of it.  Gut feeling that the saints have a bit of a drop off. Might win div still but I think Eagles, rams, vikings are in a league of our own in the nfc ... maybe even NFL.

I'll throw gb and sf as my wc teams but sea/atl/car/dallas(sorry) will all be in the hunt for it too.

I also really like the chargers to win their div. Maybe a gut feeling too but I think this is the year it happens.

They only let Allen Robinson (who missed the whole season) and Allen Hurns (who didn't play much) walk. They did sign Donte Moncrief who is at least as good as Hurns. I think they upgraded at TE from Mercedes Lewis to Austin Sefarin-Jenkins.

With their defense and Fournette, I think they should compete again. Depending on Blake Bortles is a little scary though.
Exactly.  The Jags still have Lee and Cole, their two best WRs from 2017, they should have Dede Westbrook for the whole season, and added Montcrief.  Their WR corps is in good shape.  I think some are overlooking the improvement Bortles made last year.   I will be a little surprised if the Jags regress this year and miss the playoffs.  When your D is that good, you can win a lot of games.

Dunno.  Their D was atrocious the last half of the season last year.  What significant improvements did they make to it this offseason?

KC could be a high power offense but most of their games will be shoot outs with that Defense
Very valid points.  Fantasy wise though the Chiefs should be fruitful because of said defense.

The rest of the AFC West is thankful for the gift giving Andy Reid
I so badly want Big Red to win a title but I'm starting think time is pretty close to running out for him.

• The Super Bowl champions’ plans: “I don’t know what [the Eagles] are going to do, but I have been amazed at their presence everywhere at these pro days. I told [general manager] Howie Roseman, ‘You must have an unlimited scouting budget—and I think you’ve exceeded it.’ They’ve had coaches and scouts everywhere. They don’t act like they just won the Super Bowl. They act like they’re dying just to make the playoffs.”

This makes me smile

Bump. The reigning Super Bowl champ's thread should not be on page 3.

Also, we did our Lombardi trophy pics on Saturday

Pre Season Schedule

Game 1: vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Game 2: at New England Patriots

Game 3: at Cleveland Browns (Thursday, August 23, 8 p.m. Fox)

Game 4: vs. New York Jets

Love that we play the Pats. Get a chance to remind them who the champs are.

So the pre season schedule got released. Week 2 match up with NE and Week 3 where the starters play the most is against the Browns on Fox. Week 1 is Pitt and week 4 as usual is NYJ. Dates and times for every game besides week 3 are scheduled around the dates provided. Only time give is the fox game which is 8 Day announce later.

Also apparently the Eagles are meeting with Darius Guise in LSU this week.

In other news we dodged that Reuben Foster bullet. Don't see how SF keeps him after this report or any team even signs him at all.

Eagles spending extended time with LSU RB Derrius Guice

NDT Scouting's Jon Ledyard passes along that LSU RB Derrius Guice will be meeting with, working out for and visiting the Philadelphia Eagles over the coming days.

We're seeing an incredibly concentrated connection between the Eagles and Guice, here. This is the timeline on which this will play out -- the Eagles will meet with the LSU standout in Louisiana on Thursday night, before running him through a private workout on Friday. Then -- following a weekend visit to the Redskins -- Guice will head to Philly for an official predraft visit.

This has been my Eagles pick for awhile now but I'm not sure he's there at 32. If he is it should be an automatic get. People keep mocking him to Sea but I don't see how an RB helps them when their main issue is the actual Offensive line that can't block in the run or pass game which is why you see these video game escapability highlights by Russel Wilson over the past year or so. For a team that has had this huge hole which seems for yrs and to neglect it like they have would be concerning to me.

Cowboy's release Dez.

IMO that makes Dallas a contender if Dak becomes the leader in that offense.
I don't see it. Outside of Zeke who's their biggest threat on Offense? Allen Hurns is a nice WR but he does nothing to scare me. I say just put 10 in the box and force Dax to beat you with his arm. He's a QB that doesn't take chances and Dez is a go up and get it type WR. I've also heard that Dal OC (Forget his name) had Dez running only 3 routes. Hard to make an impact when you run only 3 routes which I know Dez is capable of more. The drops were concerning though

The ONLY good thing is next year we will have a young team and close to 73 million + cap increase to spend.

The 3 route thing is a myth. Linehan is a terrible OC. Garrett an even worse OC and HC

yeesh, this is a little unsettling with Bennett then Worley.  Hope Howie knew about these potential troubles and these were calculated risks...
Maybe Bennett.  This Worley thing seems way out of left field.  Has he been is any trouble previously?  Passed out blocking a highway with a gun.  Wow

You can't be a 4th stringer and pass out in traffic then be a Richard to the cops that tell you you're wrong.

wow that was fast. But yeah, weird situation, but you can't be on a good team and pass out blocking a highway with a gun on you. Totally different then the b.s. Bennett is dealing with i think, but is a little different then the wholesome team from last year. I am thinking the Eagles just want training camp to start soon too
Worley's problem was he came home. Meaning he came home to play for the home town team. Sometimes for guys with a need of change of scenery that's not the best move.

would seem to  a possibility. came out of nowhere and he hasn't been here long. Still, to put himself in that position to pass out in middle of a highway with a gun, I am thinking he may not be too much of a loss
