*Official 2020 Philadelphia Eagles Thread* Humanity will never recover from the most horrible event to happen in the last 100 years: Doug Pederson pla (3 Viewers)

Every Eagles WR Drafted in the last decade:

Quez Watkins
John Hightower
Jalen Reagor
JJ Whiteside
Shelton Gibson
Mack Hollins
Nelson Agholor
Josh Huff
Jordan Matthews
Marvin McNutt
Riley Cooper
Reagor already shows more than most of those guys in 2 games.

welcome back need2know. i ventured into political forum for the first time yesterday during the trump speech and yea, i won't be going back lol. it's stressful in there.

another great thread title, love it lol.

I know everyone is harping on missing DK MetCalf but in 2014 we picked Marcus Smith and Jordan Matthews and let GB take Devante Adams. Most TD's by WR in NFL since 2016
still amazing that Adams is what he is now, his first two years he didn't look like he would be this good. i think i remember he landed in Rogers' no-pass purgatory a few times in those years.

Says a lot about their coaching staff. They consistently get WRs to play at a high level. Also helps to have Rodgers pushing them.

I have been on vaca for 6 weeks because I made a benign comment about something in the political forum.   Never going there again.   I did miss talking about our eagles though
I sure it wasn't as bad as a lot of things I've seen over there not be but I'll refrain from going any further and get an unwanted Vacation myself

It was nothing.    But someone got hurt by some words they don't agree with.   Get over it.   Some people have different opinions.    I didn't insult anyone and would never attack anyone on here.

crazy how many misses, yet they had the sense to pick up Fulgham off of another team's practice squad. can't figure out how much is luck, or lack of development, or what

Ah yes it is him you did it last year or was that Deamon?
Surprised you didn't know it was him with his huge avatar beside the title :P

Insein does it during odd numbered years only.  I've done it a few even years but Noid wanted to this year and is killing it.

Yep sounds about right. I got banned for something I posted in the game day thread last year meant as a joke. Wasn't anything terrible and got a 1 week vacation. My last one was something taken completely out of context. I basically said I wouldn't go further because of a possible suspension and then said something about people being in charge getting Karma which was nothing directed at anyone here. Looking back on it I can see where the post had some miscommunication as I was not saying it about anyone in here. That was my fault for not giving more clarity for the post though.

and i know politics are everyone's joy to discuss these days, but i thought this article was a better fit for here. yes, little political twist, but focus is all on Philly:

I mean our Mascots can get psychotic too. Gritty "Punched" some little kid. We got a Mascot for our soccer club who's a snake with Hands and Feet and a mohawk with a wicked Kick, our Football teams mascot is the symbol of Freedom of our country, We got one of the best Mascots in Phanatic and well we got a Hawk in College who never stops flapping it's wings. Oh yeah theres also this cool Wildcat we have too that I'm not sure I'd want to upset though. We also are proud of being the first Capital of America. Heck if it comes down to it I think Even Pittsburgh would come to our defense.

One good thing about being a Philadelphia native this year is all the great memes.  Gritty and the Phanatic should just be the mascots of all the cities sports - eagle the eagle (idk what he's called) for the Eagles is a boring mascot.

Assuming Dallas loses (Which I know I shouldn't assume)

Philly 8 GP- 3.5 Wins
Wash 8 GP- 2 Wins
Dallas 9 GP- 2 Wins
NYG 9 GP- 2 Wins

That's a pretty nice lead haha.

His Name is SWOOP and he's very underrated and our Soccer Club Mascot is Snake with hands and feet and a Mohawk and he's BFF's With Gritty

Oh hey, Nelson Agholor caught another TD. Amazing what can happen when you have competent offensive coaches.
Dude came up small in many opportunities. I know the WR coaching has been bad, but the player has to take some accountability when he can't track or catch a football multiple times. He's always had the talent, but something wasn't right in his head and he needed new scenery.

Ya it doesn't necessarily mean we screwed up with him.  I'm happy for him, but still bitter that he didn't make those plays while he was here.  It always seemed to be in his head.

He made some in 2017, the year we had the best offensive coaching while he was here. Other years, he was a disaster.

looking at some tweets and stuff from the Tampa Bay game and they are all yucking it up since they are now the 5th seed and talking about how they will get the match-up against the NFC East.

I really do not like the Cowboys, but if there is a game where i could possibly cheer for them it would be that match-up in the playoffs

The Cowboys are projected to finish last in the div, are you suggesting you think they may be in the playoffs?

All four teams in this division are terrible. How ironclad is that projection, really?
I know we're all terrible.  But based on our current records and team make ups, its very unlikely Dallas makes the playoffs.  Just saying I don't think Dallas will be playing Tampa in the playoffs.

So if we lose Duce now to a HC job we get extra picks? Who comes up with these rules?! 😂
Very weird, had to google what you were referring to.

Hopefully that happens.  I don't think Duce is a great coach and can't see any team hiring him as a HC before he's even an OC.

Are the Eagles still a 12 personnel offense?  Trying to decipher Goederts opportunities moving forward with emergence of Fulgham and other skill position players coming back.

What are you talking about? His the assistant to the regional manager... err Head Coach.
