It sounds like Smith's issue was basically a paperwork issue (carrying the weapon before all the paperwork was properly approved), whereas the MSU players were beating people with their helmets. Doesn't sound all that hypocritical.

Instead you drop back, take a sack and then end up punting. Utah scores here and then gets the ball first in the 2nd half to try and take a lead.

This is the problem I have with the committee. Neither made the SEC title game, they finished with the same record, and they played head to head. That last part has to actually count for something given the other two.

I don’t think Bama is particularly deserving either but at least every game they’ve been in has been competitive. Tennessee got housed by two teams, one of them average. Ain’t gonna happen.

If Duggan has a big game in a win today, he has to be in consideration. Especially everything he dealt with prior to the start of the season. Numbers aren’t the best, but they’re pretty good.

I think the opposite. Don’t see them pairing up the conferences in the first round of the playoffs. I think they’ll try and avoid that at all costs.
