Official 2022 college football thread: its conference realignment season. (2 Viewers)

Feels like the game flipped a bit when Harrison went down

UGA played an incredible 4th quarter.
Yup, though his loss had nothing to do with OSU’s secondary being unable to cover downfield all season. Not sure their safeties made a play deep all year. Georgia made the plays when they had to because they are really good. OSU’s offense missing their top 2 receivers, top 2 RBs and top TE weren’t enough to overcome their defensive lapses.

I haven't watched Georgia at all. I was hoping to see DT Jalen Carter do something special to make him worthy of being a top pick in the draft. A lot of folks have him headed to Seattle. I saw one swim move (really quick) and pressure on a pass rush, but other than that I don't think he showed up for this game. I didn't see him getting double teamed every play. I saw him getting pushed around. Anyone have the scoop here? Is he injured?

yeah, kill the head and the snake dies ...or something like that - took the guy out ...plain and simple
Dirty hit. Someone probably said if you get a shot take it.
After reading @BobbyLayne ’s link I realized I don’t know enough about college football rules to say whether that should have been called targeting, but even apart from the concussion that was a huge play in the game. It initially looked like Stroud was throwing the ball away, but on replay I believe without the hit, Harrison scores there
