Isn't it sort of odd that France is so good at this? Just don't think of that country as particularly athletic in any way.

Soccer players are phenomenal athletes. The “out best athletes” crowd don’t get that. France is also very good at rugby.

They’re also not terrible at basketball.

They’re a long-standing developed country that’s been historically fiscally solvent. Not shocking at all that they’re then good at stuff.

I could see this one ending 3-0 France or 2-1 Morocco. Next goal is huge - My money would be on France to find that goal and then they will have Morocco at their mercy - similar to the other semi.

Man, those were some decent chances by the Atlas Lions there.

They are playing fantastic but they need to be very careful here. The last ditch tackle on Mbappe shows how quickly France can counter and put this away. That's what Dechamps is banking on. He probably wishes Kante were healthy right now.

It was a shot, but amazing jukies to even get it off. And easy to get high value rebounds when 5 guys are on Mbappe and there's no one left to clean it up.
