As long as he's hitting 3 run homers I'm sure he'll Mr CongenialityI understand why people don't like George Springer (Astros sign stealing history etc..) but when he's on your team, he is an extremely likable guy,
BS 3rd strike call there. Absolutely unacceptable
Probably. Even our FBG based fantasy league moved away from the baseball forum and on to discord because of random FBG bannings potentially interrupting league activities. So should we just retire the Baseball Forum now? I went in there looking for discussion about tonight‘s game and found tumbleweeds.
Now that I think about it, maybe we should keep it as the new Test Forum. I’ve always wanted to figure out how to do that spoiler thing.
I'd say most of Canada. The guys I know in Vancouver are big Seattle fans. And if there's one city in Canada they can't stand, it's "The BIG City". I've been in Toronto for a game and seen it firsthand. Watched a guy say to my buddy, after asking him where he was from and hearing "Vancouver", he goes, "Well, welcome to the Big City". And he said it like he was talking to a little kid. First time I ever saw that friend ever get so livid he got up and left, or might've ended up in a fight.Calgary Flames fans react to Jays winning.
Calgary is 1650+ miles from Toronto. Canada's team.
Have you seen the crowds in a regular season Toronto/Seattle game in Seattle?I'd say most of Canada. The guys I know in Vancouver are big Seattle fans. Toronto does have that vibe, at least for west coasters from their country. Like, no way are Canucks fans ever rooting for the Maple Leafs . Like NY/LA I guess you could say. Somewhat similar. It carries over into other sports, not just hockey.
The disdain for Toronto, or at least that superiority complex I'm trying to explain, is real. At least in Vancouver it is. Seen plenty of it there too. They're not Raptors fans just because it's the only team in Canada.
No I have not. Or not that I have noticed. Are you saying they are mostly from Vancouver?Have you seen the crowds in a regular season Toronto/Seattle game in Seattle?I'd say most of Canada. Can't vouch for the over 50% Jays fans claim, but I know a lot of people living in the greater Vancouver area that go to Seattle for Mariners and Seahawks games. Some are M's & Seahawks fans and some support the Jays & Seahawks. It's usually more than 50% Blue Jays fans... from Vancouver/BCNo I have not. Or not that I have noticed.
